  1. BTW - I got my Gran Turismo and my Gran Turismo! Jinx!
  2. It's a truck full of Mazda 3's? The Focus CC is more interesting...
  3. Hi Greg - yes, it obviously should have the bit that the zip connects to. I have asked BlueGum if they can repair it for you. Just waiting on a time and details. Shall keep you posted. J
  4. As they say in the classics - if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. BUT... The issue with my experience was not the car, it was the dealer. If you find a car that you like, and can get an independent review of it - then just make sure all REVS, VicRoads and Police checks are done correctly. Get each party (be it the Police or VicRoads etc) to sign off on the report, and you'll be right. Chasers are close and will look after you. Ben will certainly do a good job if you want to build on the car too. J (just don't tell me it's the 1999 pewter R34, non-V - it's been there for a while...)
  5. Greg: I'll have a look at mine tomorrow for you (is at the office).
  6. I'm older and wiser than you for a reason. https://www1.roads.vic.gov.au/servlet/vicro...Name=frmAborted Hit 'accept' down the bottom and enjoy. J
  7. Forget what was written here before 'the Government' censored it. The only correct answer is... Adz is gay++
  8. yeah - he's one of my customers. so is 25 (SL55)
  9. Nope - VIC rego #1 is privately owned and also on a silver E-Class Merc. For the record... 2 = red Ferrari 612 3 = silver Mercedes 4 = silver Porsche 5 = green BMW 6 = white BMW 7 = blue Mercedes 8 - on retention 9 = grey Ferrari F430 10 = silver Ferrari 550 Maranello
  10. Twice today Mike and I were talking about specific customers, and they rang during the conversation. Different people each time. Neither of whom we have spoken to for some time. Spoooky Mind you, after the second time we started talking about Jessica Alba... and she didn't call. Bitch.
  11. Crispy: it's Friday. Biff has the owners dad's car (he'll probably get pissed and crash it) and he had to take Jennifer up to the lake.
  12. Iceman FTW
  13. The plate [AL GORE] is on a black Lexus 600hL
  14. Our showroom in Richmond is now part-convertible Some poor, brave tradies are up there now fixing it. One of them nearly blew away so he cracked it and went home. Part of the roof landed on one of the Weltmeister mechanics cars. Another interesting day... My mum works for the Botanic Gardens - she said today is the first time EVER they have evacuated all the people and closed the gardens! Crazy!
  15. Just on this again - the police with radars were hiding in the bushes overlooking one of the few straight bits of the Black Spur. The roadblock was then a few KM down the way, in a mobile phone 'black' zone. This was so the motorbikes couldn't call or text back to their mates to turn around and skedaddle. It also meant the rozzers couldn't call me to stop my car from being incorrectly impounded. Sneaky, but clever. No fun allowed anywhere anymore. And for the record, the particular car in question goes from legal to speeding in about 1-sec. Bummer.
  16. Was it in the showroom on Friday Steve? Looks like a VW kit car...
  17. vote +1 adz
  18. Trust me - its a hell of a lot more annoying when it's not you that gets a car that is isn't yours, which is needed 1000km away impounded on a public holiday. I should write a book.
  19. Haha - that's a good one!
  20. It's very legit. That 'one car' they speak of is somewhat familiar to me. And Adz. *sigh - just another day at work. I still think we'd make a great reality/doco TV program...
  21. Duran Duran! Cool! I remember the first time I saw the Girls on Film video - I couldn't believe I had seen boobs on TV and hadn't been sneaking late night SBS viewing!
  22. Introducing the Buforio MkIV 'La Grande Chulo' - the latest addition to The Supercar Club collection, and the first car to enter at Group 7. This hand-built motorcar offers a level of exclusivity not seen since the 1930's. Constructed in a 5,000 man-hour process by a team of uniquely trained Caraguayan monks, the body is hand-formed from pewter and features trim made of depleted unobtanium. Inside, the dashboard is made from Brazillian Rosewood, with each car using 2-whole trees in its production. The seats are trimmed in Arabian Oryx leather, and the instruments are faithful recreations of those found on the bridge of the Rainbow Warrior - plated in 24cr gold. With a twin-engine layout (the rear is a 200HP supercharged air-cooled 4-cyl - the front being a cast-plastic 6-cylinder) the car's performance matches it's unique road presence, having a claimed top-speed of over 300km/h. Due to the exclusive nature of the car, existing members can only place bookings today (01/04/08) before 12pm. If you are interested in joining The Supercar Club to experience this amazing vehicle, please contact James Ward by replying to this email to secure your place. There are of course many other amazing cars in The Supercar Club collection, available to book year-round in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast - visit our website www.supercarclub.com.au for more information.
