  1. Sock: You can borrow my Nikon if you want to run round and take photos. I wont have a chance - being a booth whore and all It has a big memory card and 3.32Mpixel - so should fit about 300 shots. Batteries are good, but will bring 2-sets. Just have to take some photos of my car and our girlies up on stage
  2. Looks like a fantastic event! Also - that banner is unreal. Can the person responsible send me PM - would be nice to get an identicl one for Vic
  3. Photos look great Nice job guys!
  4. Bah - bunch of doubters. This is just like the way that stupid horse-riding game at Barcode was designed to stop the illegal midnight horse races in Sunshine. When was the last time you saw one of those on Today Tonight? Power to them I say. From all accounts it sounds like it will be a real drag. Har har. Take my wife, please. I'm here all week folks.
  5. First thing I noticed too
  6. The Ute owner was saying 'will get 260, maybe even 270... they're 220 stock and I've got an exhuast and chip... etc'. It made 220 on the 3rd run (212 and 201 on the others) - sounded good though. No forced induction, just good old fashioned cubic inches. Still need a photo of the trophy
  7. Thanks to Nick and Sam for hosting us for a fun day Not a huge turnout considering we were keen to do some fundraising for MAS, but many thanks to all those who came along. Ash arranged some fantastic trophies (can someone post a photo, I forgot) and the 'How much power does the Lada have' comp was great fun and helped raise a bit of coin So... Best power 4WD was JagR33 (Jack), best power RWD was Slayer_1971 (Rohan). Can't remember exact numbers - Rohan, Ash has your trophy. The Lada made 40kw at all 4 wheels - with a top speed of 136km/h Snowman (Andrew) was closest at 37kw! The raffle was not run, as not enough people were there - so we'll hold it at AutoSalon, buy tix from the stand, to draw on Sunday arvo when the dyno comp finishes. Thanks again to everyone who came along Just a couple of photos: James
  8. Oyabun has a very tough 32GTST available - has a swisho dogbox and heavily worked RB26.
  9. Actually - the majority of Japanese R33 GTRs (and other cars) are white - as it is seen to be a lucky colour... Anyhoo: colours like white, silver and black are 'traditional' colours - and tend to be popular no matter what the current market trend is. These are factory R33 GTR colours: AN0 Super Clear Red BN6 Deep Marine Blue KH3 Black KL0 Spark Silver KN6 Dark Grey LP2 Midnight Purple QM1 White KP4 Sonic Silver AR1 Super Clear Red 2 The deep marine blue is rare, as is purple (unless you live in Melbourne, where it seems, everyone has a f*cking purple one ) I have never seen a red one though. Championship blue was only available on the LM special edition. The purple was the R33 GTR 'signature' colour (gunmetal grey for 32, bayside blue for 34). And it sure is pretty - see my photo links for example There is no easy answer as to why the above colours were chosen (some are quite complex - the red and purple are both pearl) - market trends, advertising arrangements, personal preference - who knows? Recall in the early 90's, all the euros (Benz, BMW, VW, Volvo, Opel etc) produced cars in a pastel yellow (think Taxi) which may have been cool then... but sure looks crappy now.
  10. Just wanted to add my 2c. I'll take any poor placement of any badge on any Skyline... and raise you! I win

  13. We had a small cruise (Me, Wardest, Pred and Horus) to Portsea pub late last year. Was a nice run down to Flinders and to Portsea via Red Hill. Old thread with map here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=26859 Perhaps if we go this way - extend it to a drive-in movie in Dromana? http://drivein.net.au/ I voted for Hanging Rock though - haven't been there for a while, and we can include the spooky gravity hill on Cherry-tree Lane... Either way - I'm up for it
  14. Jeeze Vickii - don't leave it too late or anything Tell me the size in the next 15 mins - I'm going home then out of the office (no email) til Friday arvo.

  19. Where were you Jimbo - should have come to say hello. And - yeah, trying to steal the banner with nail clippers!! What a loser. Was funny watching him skulk off with everyone laughing at him. Tool.
  20. Evil: Nah - just bring it on the actual weekend. Just needed to know who had one available for the show. Leewah: Can you let me know if the DJ is confirmed, and how much space they need?

  22. The wheels you mentioned: Advan TE37... Rays Engineering make the Volk TE37. The enquiry is: Are they Advan wheels? or are they TE37's? These are TE37's:
