Yep, I will be there for the weekend in some form. Just a standard R32 GTST(project car). I mean you can pick them up for pocket money now. Did the vending machine abuse the two of you in some way?

A couple of places I have been: Mugen is good, you can probaly see the honda Legend with the LM V8. Spoon is just a warehouse, Type One down the street is where they tune the racecars.

If you want to go buy music Shibuya is the place as Sig mentioned. Cisco(the best store for in the world in my opinion) Next Records (pure hip hop) etc they all are lined up almost on the same street+ you have HMV and Tower branches also around.

Shiba Park Hotel is a long way from MAKUHARI MESSE.It takes over an hour to get there from Shiba Park Hotel.Ca 1 hour and 30 min. A bit off topic.... I stayed there for the TAS05.In my opinon Shiba Park hotel is not very good either.Expensive(internet was 10min for 1000yen) and staff were not always very helpful.If you asked about anything else then tourist stuff.......helping you find workshops etc they offered very little assistance. Rooms were ok,but at the price you pay they could be better. It`s not the best place to stay if you`re going for TAS,streetracing,workshops etc. I would have found something a bit closer.

Nismo Omori should have some staff who can speak english. When we visited last year they had some of their staff spoke quite good english.
