yeah i made a mistake of doing only 2 layers of clearcoat but then again i did mine in red so its more apparent if the paint isnt shiny.. did u use sandpaper -> primer -> paint -> clearcoat

i did mine in red.. how about you go over with a couple of layers of clearcoat? try a search about interior painting and you can find a few pics from WA alone

well.. its normal that as a group gets bigger and bigger, it kinda breaks up into little seperate groups with different ideologies, different attittudes, backgrounds etc.. this in itself makes it impossible for everyone to *genuinely* get along and like each other but we should all make the first step of becoming civil to each other, and think before we post.. i like the idea how the forums can only be accessed if you have an invite or a referral from at least one member who has been here for say, more than 3 months.. this stops di(kheads from joining and then inviting 20 of their mates.. but is this feasible? do we wanna go that far?

also, the older members, me included are also guilty of not being as welcoming to the n00bs as how we were welcomed in the past.. when i first joined, the forums was a much friendlier place - maybe due to the smaller number of members and the fact that most of the members were older.. i guess for this place to improve we as the older members have to lead by example and bring the forums back to how it was when we first joined..

I dont think anyone has the right to ask someone to leave these forums.. unless you're Prank but having said that, i feel that the forums degraded with the sudden influx of P-Platers right out of school jumping into an R33, finding the forums and flooding with stupid questions that have been covered a million and one times (not talking abt Mikey but a huge number of others and this isnt confined to just WA but to the whole board)..

I disagree with you Mikey.. i think the thread was a good idea provided it brought forward input and foresight from all members, esp the ones that have been here awhile.. Even though Mikey says he is part of the problem, he did the right thing by addressing the issue rather than just saying "Oh SAU is shit coz of the n00bs, coz of this, coz of that, blah blah".. i thin everyone is very interested in this topic and it can be very beneficial for all of us to discuss this openly.. Mikey - make a new topic and we all contribute as positively as possible.. no pisstaking, no sarcasm..
