This is perhaps the most informative thread on the dilemma between an r34gtt and s15, as most experiences are from first hand owners and have either owned or driven both. Im probably in the same position now, owned a r32 and selling it now and are contemplating either 34gtt or s15 that will make a better car. Interior exterior, i think the s15 wins hands down and in terms of power the sr20 is very potent too. Would be a very hard choice, even for myself now, but the pick probably would be the r34gtt.

I have a smiliar incident happenned to me. It happenned in my apartment garage, found footprints on my rear fender and one of my apartment occupants goes to deakin uni too ! must be some skyline hater FFS jealousy !!

wow that is very nice brochure haha. But when i saw it in person the car actually doesnt have that 2 tone color effect. Very much just resembles the midnight purple from r33gtr, and most of the time i looks rather black under dim light conditions. BTW does anyone think the colour is rice? Some opinions think it is rice :S

i see.. thanks for the info guys . Because i see that colour and the r33 GTR midnight purple are very similiar. I thought the midnight purple 2 in r34 has more of a chameleon effect.

Hey guys i have stock side mount and a front pipe from r32gtst, separate items go for 40 each, or buy both for 75.

Is the brakes on that mspec r34 4 pot? it looks bigger than the regular r34gtr vspec's 4 pot

Thanks for the feedback guys, i have driven the golf gti , really zippy car too imo but im after a jdm this time haha so euros are no go lol . Looks like at the end of the day it boils down to 34gtt. I have heard the rex is a bitch to mod and repair as the engine is at the lower end and has 4 camshafts instead of twin and because of the position of the engine it takes more time to work on it. Anyone can clarify this?

I have to agree that the 6cyc engine is and advantage over the s15 but in my opinion exterior and interior wise the s15 i think is better, more sporty and stylish, more streamlines and all that. r34gtt are quite flat, not much streamlines across the car. Interior wise, persoanlly i find the s15 heaps better feels more like a sports car than a family car lol.

Agreed on the exhaust manifold its just so common. I wonder if its poor build quality. I have asked a few supra owners, and they have no idea what im on about, as they have not have such problems . Oh, and faulty gauges too sometimes.. Really makes me wonder the quality build on Nissans

Thats what i believe too, a mechanic one told me that they are really very reliable if u know how to take care of it .

Hey guys just wondering whats your opinion on these cars. I know each has their own uniqueness, but just wondering if anyone owns either of these before and willing to share their experiences such as daily drivability and so on . The sti version 9 should be by far has the most performance but in terms of styling not really a big fan of it. So yea... given the three, which would you guys choose ? something also to commute daily to work.

So.. would u say with stock BNR34 turbos, coupled with HKS F-Con is better off than with a pfc ? I thought generally the PFC is better

I forgot to mention its not the officer that told me that, its actually one of the approved noise testers, as I only went for the noise test instead of the full emission test. But yea i guess you are right, I doubt they know the exhaust layout's design, ie , a straight flow as opposed to a standard one with another box before the rear muffler. Thanks for the help Cheers

So its not true? The guy said because it has been found tampered, and it has been modified again, because on the form the exhaust layout design has been submitted.
