    Im hoping the beast will be up and running for this. Have missed many cruises in the last couple of months due to it being off the road. So Im guna say in for the cruise and place at the pizza table +1 please Luke. I must crack the whip!!!

    Swapping rotors would eliminate the issue. The reason being is that if your steering is shaking upon braking, its more than likely that your rotors are warped and not flat, creating an undulating disk surface. So that shaking or shuddering you feel, is the uneven braking on both sides. Easy way to check this is with a micrometer. Or take it to a machine shop. You may be able to get away with just machining the surfaces flat again, provided you have enough meat left on the rotors. If you want brand new ones, if DBA dont make them, try RDA, Alcon, Brembo, or even get a new set of factory rotors. Someone has to stock them. Hope this helps.

    Dont get me wrong, painted up they look awesome. I believe another SAUer on here posted a while ago the refurb of his set of Alcon V8 Supercar calipers, and they looked unreal. Also when i let him know what calipers and size rotors id be running, he told me exactly what pad shape to use as well as thickness. Or you can try and find the bits you need on their website. www.alconusa.com When you find the part numbers you need, or even if you cant, this guy should be able to help you out with what you need.     They are a bit of a weird greenish grey colour. I think they are normally not powder coated or painted as they are for motorsport use, and any coating used would quickly be destroyed because of the huge amount of heat they have to deal with on a regular basis. Plus it would hinder the calipers ability to disperse heat. Plus if you leave them uncoated, its light weight yo!!

    I still have a set of those rears to go with them if you ever want them to complete the brake upgrade. Might also be getting one or two full sets of calipers. And yeah i can say they look huge. But pics dont do them justice. They are gob smackingly massive in person.

    This is true. But shit does sometimes happen. Fingers crossed it doesnt lol. Yeah i know how easily plumbing can add up, especially when it runs the length of the car a couple of times over. Ive never personally driven PI, but i can see where you are coming from. I was more thinking about the front and rear distribution, rather than left and right. But I dare say you'd have more experience in this than me haha. Good luck man. Would love to see this thing screaming in the metal.

    Looks great Steve. However, I would have thought that mounting the oil tank at the front like that would leave it subject to possible damage. I would have thought mounting it in the boot would have been better in the the case of an impact, and even with weight distributuion.

    I have a rb30 block with crank and cradle, but it was from a non turbo vl. Apparently they were stronger or some shit, so i was told. Came out of a running car. Was guna do the conversion to my 32GTR but just rebuilt the 26 instead. $200 plus postage. Only thing is im located in wollongong NSW. But its here as an option for you.

    Might have to buy a few sets of bearings for the old RB26 before they go under. Could be worth a few dollars to the right people when they become no longer available.

    Front upper arms are long gone. Still plenty of stuff to go. Chuck me some offers. Might have to update or start a new thread as i have done a bit of a clean up after my single turbo conversion and have a few more parts to get rid of. Will either put them up here or create a link to the new thread.
