    Hey Damo, With a name like that, you must be awesome! Yeah id rather remover the hubs and remove the covers all together. If i just cut it and fold it out, its guna look dodgy as lol.     Fellow SAUers, I am currently in the process of upgrading my brakes, and in doing so, i am using larger diameter rotors front and rear. My dilema is, in using a larger rotor on the rear, i need to remove the covering plate that sits behind the rear rotor. Can anyone tell me how to remove this? Do i need to remove the rear hub to get to it? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Damo.

    Yeah, with O disk, you will never fit big brakes unless you use a spacer. I dont think they even clear the Brembo calipers that come on the GTR.

    It would all depend on the disk faces of the rim: R disk for: big caliper clearance. A disk for: meh calipers. O disk for: who cares about stopping, take the calipers off and get as much diiiiiish as you can.

    Awww now im blushing lol. Cheers for the compliments mate. I'll pass them on to the missus too. Im sure she'll love it lol. Had the car for nearly 10 years now, doing things bit by bit. Slowly but surely coming together. Still plenty i want to do though. Yeah, wanted something different on the covers. Im not sure whether any of the other guys got any decent photos of them to see if they show it any better. I only got a few pics on my phone. Come to think of it, i may have one of the motor before it went in. I'll have a look.

    Yeah it was great to meet everyone and check out some cars as well. The weather sure turned it on for us that's for sure. Was even a few nice cars to have a look at down at wakefield park too thanks to a lotus club. All in all, a great day. Pleasure to put some faces to some names. Cant wait for the next one.
