  1. Same problem I had, my compressor was ceesing up there for it was added extra load on the wiring system. The fuse would blow, so we put in a larger fuse and the compressor started to smoke. Relpaced the compressor now its OK
  2. Its only cheap because its on special, United 1 5w50 in normally over $70 per 5ltr pack. Its a full PAO and Ester synthetic, not a hydrocrack mineral oil United Oil is not a small back yard company, they are Quality assured and API licensed and bigger than most of the brand names you know of in Australia. Also have a complete range of double ester engine and gear oils. Guys, dont get caught up in brand name hype! Ash
  3. Mine is for sale! 1993 R32 GTR VSpec 1, unmodifed Ashly 0417 936 001
  4. Hi Jono Advertised for $500, but will accept a good offer! Ash
  5. Its a R32 GTR with Nistune installed. It allows the tuner to fully tune the standard ECU. It runs perfect only selling because I have reverted the cat back to standard. Not sure if it will work on a GTST, I doubt it would work on a GTsT. Ash
  6. I will take $250 for the exhaust with the Nistune. But im in Perth so might be hard to ship the exhaust east. Easy to post the Nistune
  7. Hi All Im selling a R32 GTR ECU with Nistune. Has a tune it for R32 GTR with 4" HKS exhaust. $500 ono Can also supply the exhaust for a little extra, including Y Pipe. ECU is in WA, but can post to anywhere in Australia Ashly 0417 936 001
  8. You can reuse them, but will need to sofen them first. Pick them up with pliers, put them over a flame unitil hot then straight into cold water (running tap) This will make them soft again, I have reused mine about 6 times Ash
  9. Not manr autoshops stock it, mostly trade distributors. Filters Elite in Cannington stock most of our products. I am happy to supply you direct if you want it, specificaly the $200 special Ash
  10. I'n not biased, I dont think you can buy a bad oil these days. True they are all different but if you do a fair comparison between different oil brands that are the same spec you wont find much difference in Performance. People tend to get caught up in Brand Marketing hype, but when is the last time you heard of an engine blowing up because the oil failed? Mobil 1 products are true synthetics, at least group 4 (PAO) and im sure some have Ester mixed in, or are full ester. All Mobil 1 products are, including Gear and Transmission Oils. As you know Paul I have worked for many oil companies (Express Oil, Shell, Mobil, Fuchs and now United Oil) I have used all their top tier synthetic lubricants and they all performed very well. But you have to know which products are "true" synthetic. I can tell you our United Ultimax 10w60 (PAO/Ester + Moly), United 1 5w50 (PAO/Ester) and 171 Racing 5w40 (Double Ester) are propper synthetic racing oil. The Ultimax and 171 have been designed specifically for motorsport use. Our United 1 Racing is also a racing oil, similar to the Mobil 1 5w50 (Grey Pack) I have free access to the United Oil products including the expensive 171 Ester, I currently use the Ultimax 10w60 in my 200sx racecar and the United 1 5w50 in my R32 GTR. I have used the United 1 5w50 in the 200sx racecar but because we sell alot of United 1 I decided to switch to the Ultimax 10w60 for stock reasons. Your race car either the 5w50 or 10w60, what lifters are you using? ash
  11. You have been told wrong. All Mobil 1 products are a true synthetic PAO/Ester mix (Group 4 or 5) Most the cheaper synthetics are a group 2 or 3 (Hydrocracked Mineral Oils) We (United Oil) have PAO/Ester mix United 1 5w50 and Ultimax 10w60, we also have Double Ester 171 Here are the data sheets Racing 171 United 1 Racing Ultimax Racing All these above products have been are being used in full motorsport applications now, I use the Ultimax 10w60 in my SR20 Racecar but have also used the United 1 5w50. We have a special for the United 1 5w50, $200.00 Including GST for a box of 6 x 5ltr Let me know if you want some Ashly 0417 936 001 United Oil Singapore United Oil Perth

  13. Thats a shame! We were out the back of the pits just past the pitlane exit. Ash
  14. We have to have a 36mm restrictor on the intake of the turbo, so this severly limits HP and rpm. Currently makes about 340rwhp @ 5800rpm with the restrictor. 15. Thanks, I could see it all unfolding and decided not to committ 100% into turn 1.
  16. Its a lomg way, we have 12 cars head up from Perth, 4000+ KMs. One of the guys in the club has a car transporter and freight it realitivly cheap. Yes first time at Hidden Valley for me and I was very happy to finish 2nd for the weekend. Its bloody hard to keep up with the V8's, especially since we have 36mm intake restrictors on our turbos. This limits us to about 330rwhp and maximum revs of 5800rpm. V8s only restriction is they cant be any larger than 6ltrs, they have unlimited RPM and Compression, so they make massive HP, more than the V8 supercars. You will see the Yellow Falcon pull away from me in the next video Ash
  17. I have entered the IPRA Nationals at Malalla SA in November, then maybe Phillip Island the week after Malalla Ash
  18. Thanks Paul. Crash took out about 4 cars, mosy of them git going again except the Black Commodore. It was a 46 car field so there were still plenty of cars out there. I was about 2 seconds off the fastest car (Matt Cherry, Red Monaro from WA), normally I can race with Matt at Wanneroo but the 1.3km straight at Hidden Valley realy hurts me as I have to run a 36mm restrictor on the turbo intake, this limits HP to about 330rwhp and revs only to 5800rpm! Matts top speed at Hidden Valley was 274kph, which is about 5kph higher than the V8 Supercars. The V8's only restriction is they cant be any bigger than 6ltrs, they have unlimited revs, compression, cam etc, so they make more HP than the supercars! Bit unfair now expecting us Turbo guys to compete with the V8s with a 36mm restrictor! Even worse the Early Model cars run the same size restrictor as the late model cars, but can weight 500kgs less Ash
  19. Race 3 including a crash!
  20. Yeah had the corner speed and braking but the long straight realy hurts with a restrictor
