I should be there in my R32 gtst and my 260RS Stagea.

That was me, was picking up the other half from her last day of her old job to go for some drinks. And yes you are correct in thinking that an rb26 lies under the bonnet, makes for lots of fun! Those poor unsuspecting commodore drivers never seem to know what just happened......the look of "i think just got cained by a volvo" cracks me up everytime!

Spotted Madaz saturday night in freedom car park, or more correctly he spotted me, always good to meet another sau member, hopefully next time we can chat longer! Also joined the "i spotted vange club" on saturday night parked on rundle street!

I had the same thing when i bought my RS260 from queensland in feb this year, the car was already in my name but i still had to take it to regency for an identification inspection, they checked all the numbers then had a basic look over the car. I got told my tint was too dark aswell and got handed a blade to remove it, i had to remove the tint from the whole car, but lucky for me the only windows tinted were the drivers and front passengers windows, the rest is black glass! But the point is, the car was already in my name and i had to do it within 14 days of bringing it over. AND queensland reg sent me a letter asking me to return the plates.....which i never got around to come to think of it!

Ive been in the last few SCS and there has been a large police prescence on leaving the event, but never really saw anyone have problems as long as they were obeying the road rules, but i heard about the event no long that was held at morphetteville, i think i was called extreme show and shine or something, there was a thread on here at some stage on the topic where people were getting there cars defected on the way in, and even cars in the car park were getting done. Hopefully if the event is organised as it has been in past years there shouldnt be any hassles.

Am i wrong in saying that at the last car show held at morphetteville race course resulted in a large number of cars being defected at the event and then on leaving aswell?? Does anyone know if we will be given any "get out of jail free cards" with entry??

That was me Deluxe, grabbing a quick bite to eat while running around looking at motor bikes for a friend. Close on the exhaust, but was done at everlast, the guys up there have done many a system for me and look after me really well! Im working on getting it closer to the ground, lookin to chuck in some coil overs soon, just got to save up some cash......damn mortgage...... Hmm would be interesting to know, cos as far as i know im the only one in adelaide with a genuine 260rs??

I rekon that could have been me spotted in the stagea boof, and you were pretty close Madaz, the 32 is sadly only a GTS-T under all that fibreglass...lol.

Hi Guys, thought id jump on and tell you i had my 260RS serviced and run yesterday. They dropped the front shaft and ran it in rwd, it managed to run 233.6rwkw, so through everything ive been told, around the 220awkw mark. Reading back through the last few pages and even after seeing the dyno chart on RS4Stagea, im a little intriuged as to how accurate this dyno you went too is, either that, or your motor isnt as stock as you may think when compared to the other stageas running around 150-160kws, 40kw is a large jump, especially in comparison to my 260RS running 233kw with the rb26. Just my 2c worth!

Hi everyone, Just thought id jump in and say a quick hello. I have a genuine 260RS that i picked up a few months ago in QLD and got it sent down to me in SA. Best decision i have ever made, the car is awesome! Best part is that not many people no what a normal stagea is let alone the autech 260rs version!

DC_GTST, Are you saying you got through with a pod filter on? Last time i went through they simply said that any pod filter of any kind was unacceptable?

Spotted Serty1 at windy point look out friday night with a few other cars.....i was in the stagea.....

Brad, Thats one hell of a build up you have done there, well done though! Will be interesting to see what sort of figures it ends up putting out for sure! Im kind of half way there already, in the sense that i have a 97 260rs, so my road to modification will be alot simpler than yours as i already have the rb26, manual gear box and full gtr running gear etc. Im just starting to look into a turbo transplant at the moment, leaning towards a set of 2530's as im not going for massive power figure, just something with a bit more punch than it has now as its my daily driver so i dont want to start breaking things! I agree on using fine money to educate cops cubes, but the fact is, the government likes the money they get through sending cars to regency, so the chances of them changing the way things are now is slim to none. I figured with mine i wouldnt change the ride height as is to obvious to be defected for, but as you said the standard ride height looks funny, so i custom made some flares to try to make it look better. If you havent seen it yet this shows the idea

Good point R32_4door_drifting, i think he was talking to you, thats what i get for checking the thread when im still half asleep...lol! Would love to catch up with all you guys one day to have more of a chat and a look at everyones cars, just let me know when and where and ill be there! Theres no way id part with my GTR rims.... well thats a lie, if you gave me a million dollars i would...lol! They do look tough on the stagea tho, when i get some spare time one day i plan to chuck the GTR rims on the 32 just to see what it looks like! Then i myself may be in search for a second set! Only problem is then what to do with the WORKS racing rims off the 32, cos i bought them when they first came out and they cost me nealry 6k! Thats what i get for wanting to be different i guess...lol. In the end there all money pits, but its just so much fun!
