Hey Andy, Yeah dropped the front shaft and pulled the fuses then ran it in rwd as my tuner only has a rwd dyno, waiting to sort a few things then will drop it back into 4wd, i must say, 313kw in rear wheel drive is ALOT of fun though, the "wow did you see that volvo go sideways" looks i get are pure GOLD! Mine with the 2860rs's isnt too laggy, real boost starts to come on by 3500rpm, then acheives full boost by around 4200rpm, so it comes on fairly hard. Its even more fun when it hits peak torque around 6000rpm and breaks traction in all but 5th gear! lol!

Sorry to hear your misfortune Luke, you definitely dont seem to be having much luck with cars lately! I just love the comment by the female cop, shows there mentality really, like if you had of been driving a commahwore the bin would have moved out of the way for you. I dont know how you will go with getting a replacement front bar, but if you need a hand fixing that one give me a yell, as you have seen by my car im pretty handy when it comes to the fibreglass!

Just so its clear for everyone that seems to have thier knickers in a twist, as Nene has already stated, we are getting there at 6 because both myself and Nene are working in town and will only be 5 minutes away from villes, so we will be getting there at 6 to have dinner rather than driving an hour home and an hour back again, we never at any stage asked the normal meet time to be changed, all that was simply said is that we are getting there at 6, so anyone else that wants to join us for dinner is welcome, otherwise we will see you at 7!

Hey Guys, i got my 260 tuned the other day after running it in after the rebuild. Basics of the work, full forged internals, sump and rocker baffles, oil restrictor, Sard Injectors, malpassi fuel reg, in tank walbro feeding 2 litre swirl tank then to 044 bosch external, Garrett 2860rs-5 turbos, ems 8860 computer running 20psi it made 420rwhp (313rwkw) Need to get a set of splitfires to increase the spark then we'll wind it up to 22psi and hopefully reach mid 320's at the wheels, that way completely ensuring it has 300awkw.

My injectors in the stag ran out at 270kw, been upgraded now and is now tuned at 313rwkw, still got a lil bit more to squeeze out of it though!

Hey Guys, Was a great day for a cruise, weather turned out to be fantastic and Nene got some great shots of the cars. Didnt get a chance to chat to everyone so we definitely have to do it again! My vote is to start at a similar place again and head to mannum through chain of ponds and birdwood, its an awesome drive with some fun roads! My thoughts would be to start around 10:30ish, and take our time and have lunch in mannum. Its a straigh forward run, i use to do it in an hour towing my jet ski! Who would be in for that? And how tough is the pic of 3 black 260's!

If it didnt have any plates on it then yes that would have been me! lol! Has normal SA plates on it for now, but MRS260 could only be done on custom plates in the colours Nene wanted so for now ive ordered SRS260 for it, so people will no doubt have a double take if me and Nene park next to each other... I still vote for SLO260, cos it will be compared to mine babe.... We went down and had a look on sunday, and also werent that impressed with what was on show, but i think theres more to it than just loss of interest on entrants behalfs. From my point of view, i didnt enter this year because of the time involved, having to work late on friday and then saturday aswell it wasnt going to be a viable option for me to enter. The other thing i think is a bit rich is the cost of entering, really, the entrants are the ones bringing the "entertainment" to the show, i dont see why the entrants should have to pay to enter, i think the spectators entry fee should more than cover the costs of the whole set up. In my opinion i think the reason for the decline in entry numbers in adelaide has more to do with the fact of our increasingly anal transport laws making it harder to own and drive a nice looking car without being defected, most people these days probably think "why bother". With the different laws in different states it makes it easier for them to mod cars without getting bent over for it. Another reason also once again being associated with our transport department with the defect station that was set up out side of autosalon, thats a definite way of putting off spectators "come see the awesome display of cars, and get defected on your way out!" theres a deal.....

Probably a stupid question, but does boost worx have a 4wd dyno? May have to get the 260 down there to confuse some commo drivers! lmao! And if any calais turbos turn up...since they run a Nissan RB30 then they should be on the import side!

Getting there roo! The back windows arent tinted, its privacy glass. One of nissans almost good ideas, would have been good if they had of worked something out for the front windows as opposed to glass that only self tints in the sun at about 8%! My front windows on the 260 were that dark when i got the car, when i went through the regency identity check station the guy goes to me, "i think your windows are a bit dark, let me put my light meter on there, when i do the display should say 70 or above....." he puts it on the window and it comes up 14...lol.
