Nah they were still the stock ones forunately, but its not worth replacing them so im just going to upgrade them now! Wont see there full potential though until i can afford to do the computer, cos the stock one is already struggling! Yeah it certainly puts out a nasty note, i cant wait to hear it again either!

Cheers luke, only just finished running it in pretty much and now its back in the shop pulled to bits! The RS4 will have to go soon to help pay for that, aswell as a wedding im trying to pay for! Perfect timing really!

Spotted a white series 2 stagea lunch time yesterday at the bottom of mcintyre road, maybe pixel8r? I was in my white RS4 too! lol! Then half an hour later i spotted another white one at the top of mcintyre road aswell! Must have been white stagea day! And yesterday arvo spotted heslo on golden way turning onto grenfell, managed a wave at the last second when i realised it was you!

Hey Dave! That was me! Running in rwd too! Was being tuned but they only got half way thru so i got to take it home last night! Lets just say its a little bit different to drive that way!

Hey leeman, i did recognise it was you, took a second to click in that lovely work truck you were driving! lol! Would have given you more of a note if it wasnt for the slow car infront of me! And on other news i finally clicked over enough kms for full run in, so at this stage it will be back on the dyno next week for max power tune!

32 as mentioned......

I know my carbon fibre bonnet on my 32 makes a world of difference to the temp it runs at, especially on a warm day with the air con on! You could go drift spec and put spacers on the back edge of the bonnet to raise it slightly to allow some more airflow! Would be more legal too, cos i know the po po arent a fan of my bonnet!

That would be my other stagea that my gf is driving while i run the 260 in!

A carbon fibre bonnet doesnt have any suports to cut as its a one peice mould, your more refering to putting a vent onto an existing bonnet. Either way, before i bought my bonnet i rang regency and the basic explanation i got was that any vents should be made of the same material as the bonnet and that you couldnt have any forward facing vents. I told them i was looking at a carbon fibre bonnet and no comment was made to the bonnet being illegal, they did however mention bonnet pins being illegal, so you have to buy a bonnet with the correct catch moulded in. Just what i got told, not saying its gospel, if you ring regency it seems to depend on who you get to speak to as to what answer you get!

I got my carbon fibre bonnet from speed dreams and paid about $1250 from memory. Technically they are illegal from any police point of view, altho you will have less troubles if you make sure that none of the vents are forward facing, cos that for sure is illegal according to regency, which of course is crap consider our locally made coonadore is made with twin forward facing vents....go figure!

Steves 100% correct, i would sell mine for the right price, but it depends on how much your looking at spending!

Hey Trukboy, I checked under the lefthand kick panel, number on the computer is 23710 0A903 and below that has R585 A1 7Y20. Dont know if that clarifies anything for you? Cheers, Ben

There was a change over in there somewhere between push and pull types, the change was towards the end of the 33's run. FAST the engine number??

hi trukboy, Im assuming you have an RS4 that you are trying to make a 260 replica with? I dont know if a 96 model 260 was ever made, but mine is a 97 model, which branches the gap between the last 33gtr being made and the start of the 34s, mine has parts from both, is a 33 block but the clutch set up is 34, so they definitely made a hybrid unit when doing making the 260. Where abouts is the number you are looking for? I can see if i can check the computer in my 260 for you. Your valley cover is a bit intersting having the GTR cover on it as the 260 wasnt released with that cover, not being a gtr of course.

Id be keen to meet up and cruise down together, just need to work out some times and where to meet and ill be there!
