  1. I did my front two shocks about a month ago myself. Paid about $400NZD all up for both the shocks and the set of spring compressors to do it. Took less than an hour to do the whole job. Just rocked up to repco and gave them my plate number and they had the parts 3 days later.
  2. Thanks for the reply. Ended up just ripping out the switch unit and having a play with that but nothing. Then I unplugged the cables under the seat and plugged them back in and wallah. Started working again. I guess the connection wasn't too good. >< Hope this helps someone in the future
  3. Hey guys, Having an issue with the electric seats in my V35. The electric seats are all working in my car apart from the switch controlling the back and forwards control on the drivers seat. Now the weird thing is that I have managed to push it all the way back with the switch, but it won't go forward again. I stuck my head under the seat and tried to check all the connections, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for xD I also checked for noises when using the switch and the motor clicks when I press to the switch back, but no when I press it to go forwards. Is this a common problem with an easy fix? Or do I have to rip the whole seat out to get at the switches to change them out? And if I do, what is the part number/s that I would need to mention when getting parts? If anyone knows anything then I would greatly appreciate some info Cheers
  4. Thanks, How much does the trim cost (either through you or one of the aforementioned suppliers)? Because I was wondering if I could just put in the ipod/aux input for the stock stereo instead for now. Cheers
  5. Thanks for the replies. But I'm wondering if there is anyone here in New Zealand? Don't really want to start calling people in Australia xD Cheers
  6. Hey there guys New to the forum. Been reading up heaps of information about the V35 recently as I am buying one on Saturday It's the 2001 250 gt sedan. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some information relating to installing a double din kit for an after market radio? I've read up heaps about what needs to be done, but it all seems to be a jumbled mess to me. I'm based in Auckland, NZ. Was wondering what the JDM kit would cost here? Or if there are any locals that could help me out? Any advice would be appreciated And sorry if this has been asked before xD Cheers
