  17. I've used the freeze spray on turbo bolts and nut when I changed to a 3" bell-mouth dump, worked a treat. Will use it on the manifold studs when I replace the gasket and have the manifold machined, was thinking to heat the head around the exhaust ports ever so slightly before I squirt the freeze spray. Will be using one of these to extract the stud.... https://www.tradetools.com/products/818A
  18. Sorry to bump this dead thread but have been searching all arvo without much luck, does anyone know the Nissan part number for exhaust stud nut? RB20/25 My dopey local Nissan parts man couldn't even tell me the stud P/N. Have already found that and the yokes and washers but the damn nut continues to elude me.
  19. Do you have a fuel injector flow bench and cleaning machines? if so how much for test and clean?
  20. will you take $50?
  21. I wanted to try some high end oil and the racing 10 is group IV and V blend, plus I hear the high zinc formulas are very kind to super and turbo charged engines. What I do have to report is that I did manage to get some ue-cleaner down into the AAC and IAC valves, the two hoses which join them converge at a T-piece and then continue on to a connector before the throttle body. I didn't get as much smoke as you did out the tailpipe, just a small plume and it was gone in 30 seconds. The first drive was a little disappointing as the motor seemed to be very sluggish? I originally thought that the engine detox must have cleaned the rings too well and my compression might be down. So went for another run and kept a close eye out for smoke out the exhaust, especially when coming on boost, but nada??? Got home and had a thought, maybe all that spluttering when putting in the ue-cleaner had tripped the computer into the knock map, so disconnected the battery and went inside for a coffee. After the reset I went for another run, bingo pulls hard and clean So it's been a couple of days since then, and I can honestly say the engine has never run smoother! Definitely going to buy more of that cleaner. Mike.
  22. Going to give her the full treatment, upper engine cleaner then drop the old oil, and refill with some cheap gulf western and Luqui molly Engine Detox. Then in with some Penrite and a new filter...
