hi guys im trying to install a r33 shifter a stock one back to the gear box but the c clip appears to be to small now just need help or picks to see how to put it back together thanks

hi guys just replaced a blown turbo in my mates r33 gtst with a second hand stock one and it wont rev over about three thousand it also rev bounces at 3000 almost like rev limiter which i didn't do before
