  1. Hrm cleaned and pulled apart all the coils and ignighter, its seems to be running and idling slightly smoother then drops a cyl again after it starts to heat up a fair bit. Also pu another set of brand new spark plugs in again. I can get my hands of a set of rb25 coils for free, will they work in the rb26? I'll keep trying those idea's, thanks for the feedback guys.
  2. A little bit under what they owe me, but i'll keep it in mind, still for sale.
  3. 4. Thanks for the sugestions guys, i will check the connections and try cleaning the plugs with an electrical cleaner incase they're dirty. I had a feeling in might be that connection, i might go to my mechanic and get him to test how stong the spark is to each coil just incase. I've also noticed that generally the exhaust note and idle not of the car has charged, its sounds lumpier and crap even when just starting up the car..
  5. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix my gtr. When i start it up its fine, leave it to warm up its fun, but say 15 mins into driving it it starts to splutter and hesitate whenever coming on boost, like it is dropping a cylinder, then it'll drop a cylinder alltogether and run on 5. After that happens it wont rev above 2000rpm without all the cylinders cutting in and out making the whole car shudder, i have no idea what it could be. I have cleaned the afm's, changed spark plugs, the next on the list is cleaning the electric connections to the coils and temp sensor with some cleaner. Can anyone shed some light onto what might be happening? The motor has a blitz induction kit, exhaust and clutch, its pretty much stock.
  6. Uhm I sent you a private message about the offset and so on... They clear R32 GT-R Brake calipers fine so I dont see why they wont clear R33 GT-R Brakes fine aswell, unless someone can comfirm a difference... The wheels are in kawana waters if you'd like someone to inspect them for you, cheers mat.
  7. I'll measure it and get back to you jeff, I'll put them onto my gtr and see if they clear the brakes also..
  8. The guy who used to own it lives in kawana, he's one of my best mates which is good! I'm unsure weather to change rims, 18's would look the goods but i'm not sure how much the works are compaired to the gt-r rims... does anyone know how wide they are? I've allways had a thing for bronze wheels... Cyph3r, just curious, how fast did your 33 go down the 1/4, and what wastegate was on it..
  9. Offset is still the same, and they're all 18x8's.. Will fit 200sx, r33gtst, soarer ect. Still for sale, make an offer!
  10. Thanks for all the kind words guys! Cyhper i saw your old 33 on thursday night, what a rig!!!! That car gave me wood, niz33 was on his way back from getting it or something and called into 180sx_dogg's place to show us, i wouldn't have sold that car! I'm thinking of swapping the work rims for a set of r34 GT-R rims, thoughts anyone? yes or no?
  11. Haha yeah probly me, you put your foot down and it just spins and chirps away like its no big deal, this car is damn fun to drive! What car do you have at the moment? Mud; I dont know about the track yet, it neeps an ecu and more suspension / braking upgrades before I take it to the track, though I will hopefully be taking down the 1/4 mile in a couple of weeks. WazR32GTSt; I didt realise GTR's in this colour where rare, cool!
  12. Hey everyone, got my new ride about 3 weeks ago and finally got around to posting some pics up! Its an 89 R32 GTR wich I bought of a good mate of mine, with 117,xxx km's on the clock, it had a new paint job about a year ago resprayed in the factory colour midnight blue, for a car of its age its in unreal condition, with not much wear and tearmarks of other cars i've seen this old. These things are addictive! I can see myself wasting thousands on this car, but damn is it fun!! Mods include; Blitz Pod kit with stainless mesh pods HKS Suspension HKS SSQ Bov HKS Turbo timer N1 3" Exhaust Exceedy Extra heavy duty clutch/flywheel M's Factory T-Bac III EBC Omori Boost gauge Z-Sports 320kmp/h Dash Work VS 3 piece 17x9.5 Rims Nismo high pressure radiator/oil caps & gear knob Clear Blinkers (apparently very very rare) Larger injectors I ' think ' (yellow tops on them) Here are some pics on my dodgy digi cam! Some sunny coast locals may have seen it crusing around Cheers, mat..
