  1. Be carefull running 16psi through the stock turbo, 14psi is the limit usually and you should only be running that occasionaly so 16psi is really pushing its lifespan. http://www.gcg.com.au/ do good highflow jobs and are widely recommended and used by people on this forum, including me. My turbo had the 500hp highflow done to it, and has seen 18psi with no worries, 500 - 700 rpm laggier down the bottom but holds strong all the way to the rev limiter. Try and find out what the piggy back computer is... Also moving up into that power area (what my car is running with the same mods as you) you'll also be pushing your injectors (unless you have a wolf 3d or you are from perth) and your clutch will slip for sure. Other than that everything should be fabulas, maybe a fuel regulater to pump the fuel pressure up a tad. Hope this helps.
  2. Roger, i'm sick of hearing your car go up the damn street every day, please find another way home, its making me car sick!!! I'm trying to get my mate in the burgandy r33 with the decals and the plate 51ZLA to go. I'll post up tommorow and tell ya whats happenin.
  3. Rest in peace... Our hearts go out to family and friends. Whatever happend, its still a truely sad loss of life.
  4. Threads like this make the whole w.a scene look dodgy, one sour grape spoils the bunch. Why cant i get an answer to my questions? Why post results if you're not prepaired to give methods? Why do i have to fly to w.a to get information? Well done on the power figure, but no one believe's you unless you explain how, simple as that mate.
  5. I agree, I want to know how to do it aswell, if it can save me some $$'s and I learn something new than I'm all ears. But it seems that if steve tells us then SST wont have the ' edge ' over other workshops, from my point of view it looks like a sly business promotiom.
  6. You haven't told us anything to dispute, thats the whole point of my question. WE WANT TO KNOW. If it's SST's property then you should contact prank and make a donation before you guys post something to promote SST.
  7. You didnt answer my question...
  8. Whats the use of posting you can get water from stone then not tell anyone how? Absolutly useless information that benifits no one and defeats the purpose of posting it in a forum, a place where people share knowledge. "Come to perth and see for yourself" So will i have to pay some sort of fee or hourly rate to your workshop to find out this infromation? If so you should be donating to this site because it looks like you're trying to benifit your business by posting your workshop can get more out of an injector than anyone else's can workshop can. If not, then why not post how you do it here and save us the flight to W.A? :whackit:
  9. Hey, I'm after the dash surround, main console surround and transmission surrounds.
  10. You could just sell your car and by mine, easier and cheaper and has the power you're after! Sounds like a good idea roger, upgrading is allways fun. You'll need bigger injectors aswell, and maybe the turbo is a little small, you'd be better off with something like a HKS 2530, Trust TD06-20G or Garret GT30. How much of a budget do you have? Also you'll need a boost controller in there aswell. (Btw I get my car back in around 2 weeks, I'm gonna stalk you to your house and we are going for a cruise!)
  11. No external or internal wastegates? How do you control boost? Internal gates looked to be blocked off with a plate/bolt...
  12. Have the injectors been hi-flowed? May have been answerd, but i must have missed it. Is the car allways tuned to that power level every day or was the fuel pressure/boost wound up just to achive 511hp on a ' few ' dyno runs. If not what is the day to day power level/boost/fuel pressure? Steve SST, no one is having a go at you, we are all just trying to further out knowledge and figure out how we car save some dollars on the way. A great result none the less with the tune, just most people would like to see how you do it with stock injectors. We all just want to see how you do it, and when you say you dont want to tell (sure you may have your own reasons as being a workshop), people start to doubt the result without a sound explanation. How does posting a result with no explanation further the knowledge of anyone.... ? I'm just want to learn, teach me, show me, show us, share the knowledge for the greater good, haha. WD Magic1, must be an awsome car to drive around on the street, i cant wait to see you run a 1/4 mile, i bet you'll have heaps of fun doing it aswell. Steve SST, well done on getting that sort of power with stock injectors, personaly in your professional opinion do you think it is safe to leave the car as is with the injectors and power level it is running? Once again well dont steve/magic, very impressive result.
  13. Toll wont send for you unless you are a business or have an abn. I've got stuff from melbourne to here through pack'n'send, I had to sell my left testicle on the black market just to get my parts. I was told that the thing goes on size, then they dertermin the cubic weight from the lenght x width x diameter then charge you by weight, thats why mine was so expensive to send because it was a big box.
  14. You would need atleast a twin plate clutch at about that power level and a good lsd aswell, apart from that the gear box's hold up pretty good aslong as you dont snap the gears to hard all the time, 3rd's syncro sometimes starts to go, apart from that drive shafts seem to do just fine.
  15. 300rwkw seem to be the *safe* limit generally amongst most people, sure you can go further with the right support mods and a hell of a good tune as -joel- stated, but as everyone says it will be asking for danger and will only be a mater of time before something goes pop, not worth it in the long run, and with summer coming up you'll realy be wanting to watch your tune with the hot weather. Telling you how much the *max * rwkw is would be telling you how long a *piece * of string is, telling you a safe limit is giving you something to go on. Its just not worth going over 300rwkw for the sake of having to get a full rebuild, work on getting that power to the road first...
  16. Well done to Magic, sounds like a beast of a whale. I would have thought the stock injectors would have been maxed out ages ago. Its good to see someone making all this power with minimal mods, by the looks. What other work has the car had done to it? ported/polished ect?
  17. This is a * For Sale * section of the forum, maybe you should post you item thats * For Sale * there?...
  18. Should be a nice setup!! What other support mods have you got for a turbo that size? What boost do you intend running? whats it like woning a gtr in the states, i've allways wonderd about that...
  19. Dont the trust turbo's usually flow a bit more than they say?
  20. Saw you crusing today Roger, I was up at the yankie bar having a few, then as i was leaving i saw you outfront and gave you a wave, heheh its funny when you see people wave back when they have no idea who the person is, the look on ya face was funny as

  22. I'll take a set, cheers.
  23. Soon soon soon argh, painters taking there sweet sweeeet bloody time!! I'm praying it'll be within the next 3 weeks! Haha you live like 200m away from me And ya still didnt tell me weather your line has the gt stripes or not???!??
