  1. Greeat looking gt-r NoFX, if you ever wanna get rid or some parts for it, give me a buzz, i'm always keen to get stuff for mine.. Thanks for the invite too but i'll have to pass, got the mother in law coming up for a week to stay with us.. maybe some other time! Granthem, it was the one with r33 gtr rims alright, was one of the cleanest r32s/skylines i've ver seen.. seems like a nice bloke too!
  2. Do you have something to suit an r32 gt-r 89 model, h3c bulbs i believe.. i'm not sure which one to go for, need something nice and bright as the stock units i have to drive on high beams just to see anything!
  3. That might have been me buddy, probly going to work or something like that, what colour is your gt-r, so far i've only seen a gun metal one belonging to an old guy i had a chat with for about an hour at autobahn and a beautful white one with gold centre bbs lm rims..
  4. Hey all, just after an rb26 coil pack cover as my old house made trod on mine and broke it >:| Also after a hard intercooler pipe to to replace my facory silicone pipes for the r32 gt-r. Cheers, mat.
  5. Slicks..why bother, why would you go to a drag stip, run a 12, bolt your street rims back and only have a 13 second car all of the time. Although ' street ' rubber is a harder way of getting the times, atleast you can drive away from the drag strip after you've done a 12 second pass in a 12 second car. Don't always believe what you read in HPI too
  6. Hey adam hows the sr build going, all run in and tuned yet?
  7. Garage defend have always had big canard setup's on thier cars, but i'm not a fan of that cannard setup at all, and by the design look it's more cosmetic than anything else, with the big front leading edge it's not going to ' cut ' through the air and quite possably create some drag, also on the top side flap the angle is pretty mellow..
  8. Nice GT-T mate, i'll keep an eye out for it
  9. I have to agree with some of what you are saying, buying a car for a purpose is a no brainer, when you need a ute, buy a ute, when you need a toy, buy a skyline, when you need a pratical car, buy something that suits, you just had the wrong car for your needs, and while i pretty much despise holden's, whack on a gen tt intercooled twin turbo kit and with the 400rwkw you WILL get from that kit you'll be able to smash %85 of cars on the road, fruit for thought. The longer i own skylines the longer i see there flaws.. but thats mainly because i own a car not suited to my needs, but to my wants, but i'm happy with that. I dont know why everyone is comparing the new holden w60 with r32/33/34 skylines, it's comparing ornages with apples, brand new car/second hand car, import/local, new laws/old laws (in reference to car building laws, emissions/saftey ect). With the rumpured $150k price tag it'll have lets look at one of its competitors and compare it with them, and for the price it puts it up there with the R35 GT-R. Now, lets see those two go head to head and see who comes out with the winner, i will be you a carton of beer it wont be the holden.
  10. AHHHHhhh i see now! *opens eye's* I haven't heard good things about cometic head gaskits, two of my mates (sss pulsar/rb25det) have both blown the gaskit, alos read some links about the sealing of cometic gaskits.. not so good.. . I'd be going tomei..
  11. For *$110* USD that sounds like the best deal i've ever heard!
  12. Why the hell would you even consider buying a car like this, alarm bells should be going off left right and center. Unless the car is insanely cheap and you can offset the cost of a cheap buy price with an expensive repair price, then here's some things to look at. * Gear box doesn't sound good, sounds like the syncro is going. Gearbox replacement/rebulids/labour is expensive. * Car has had two rebuilds, why? Sounds like the first mechanic did not have a clue or the car had been raped to a point where it broke (sounds like the case with the gearbox) * You are going to be buying a car that isn't working.. replacing coilpacks / servicing = you pooring money into the car straight away, thats not a good start? * On the power the motor is making with the highflow, why did the motor need a rebuild, for reliablity or fixing a raped broken car? * I'd have the car checked out by your mechanic, not his.. i'd find out as much as i could and then get a good mechanic with an independant unbiased oppinion to do a full check; compression/leakdown/undercar/roadworthy, this could save you thousands.. Thats why i would do in this situation, buying a car that has had the life raped out it and be an endless money pit that can easily kill a pasion for cars, though i could be wrong about everything with the car, hence taking to an expert and finding out. Hope that helps
  13. JE are the better piston out of the lot, but why pay the price for a JE when you can buy 1000hp CP's off the shelf cheaply that'll do job just as well, they're going in my next build! I wouldn't worry to much about the rings on the CP's, more so the workshop you use to put your motor together, a motor is only as good as it's builder..
  14. Thanks mate, it'll work out, to many people in this world aren't determind enough to make shit happen.. not i. Apart from being a shit hole its an ' ok ' place (at best).. oh well, if you want houses and toys and oversea's holidays you have to work for it!

  17. Haha yeah daz moved about 5 weeks ago, just generaly over the coast, same old shit and same old people.. ya know how it is, so i decided to move up here as my family lives here and there's some good paying work up here. I'm working for a transport company at the moment driving trucks.. so no more cooking for me! I'll be heading into the mines in a few months once i'm a bit more settled in and have my MC truck licence. I'll be back on the coast from time to time, though i'll have a new toy by the time i'm down that way again Hey mate, nice to know there's another gt-r in town! I live in glenmore and see the lappers (50% bogans/30% ricers/10% cops/10% ok cars) out on thursday nights all the time, i'm not much into lapping, its asking for trouble. By the way was it you that had a carbon bonnet for sale some times ago, still got it ? This is what my car looks like It has a few mods, coilovers, bigger brakes, induction/exhaust, bride seat, work rims yada yada.. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for ya and give you a toot!
  18. Hey all, just moved to rocky to spend some time with the family and to work out in the mines... I see a shitload of skylines out and about but does anyone come on sau at all?
