Hey guys I have taken my cluster and dash accessories ouut and have not used the car in a few days. Using a multimeter: My battery is sitting on about 11.92v turned off. I cannot start the car, it just makes a ticking sound under the bonnet. If I connect my car to another car running the battery sits on about 13.8v. It will start properly but when I disconnect the other battery the car dies?? Any ideas?

Hey guys I bought my first Skyline. R33 s1. My neighbour came over who is a mechanic and instantly noticed my crank angle sensor looked to be at 17deg???? That does not make sense to me. He suggested I get a timing light. Can you please tell me what a timing light does? Is it something that is always connected to the car like another gauge? My car has a turbo back zorst, pod, 10lbs boost, Spitfire coils.

Very true. I too am not a fan of pillar and dash gauges. I like the stock look. My R33 is a weekend car which I have my 2 month old bub in the back. So I certantly wont be doing any hektik drifting. So far Im thinking boost and oil temp (as I have noticed after a short 5 minute drive and the engine is hot as) Im deciding between water temp and oil pressure but I dont even know what the later is meant for? Can someone explain?

Hey guys I bought a 1995 R33 GTST with "78,000" lol kms on the odo. I suspect a bit of sly play there but I warmed the engine up and did a compression test dry and wet. I know there are a few other threads out there with results but because my car came with NO service history I was hoping to get some direct advice. DRY WET 1-155 1-159 2-152 2-161 3-145 3-159 4-145 4-160 5-140 5-162 6-147 6-170 What do you gurus make of these results? Thanks Dan
