hi guys i am looking for a wire guide for the ignition barrell - i will double check with a multi meter but i would like to know start wire both ignition wires ACC wire and the common ground - just after the colour i am doing a start button ect and switches (gift from wife - car is not a street car) its a R33GTST

or can anyone explain what wires a what coming out of the ignition barrell? i need the start wire - ignitond wires - acc- and common ground wire

hi guys My lovely wife brought me a nice gift for xmass - Car is track/ drift only so for fun i wanna install it - below is a pic of what it looks like came with all wiring and all - planning on using the button for start - switch for power on - switch for ACC - switch for accusump - anyone here done thing similar back of each toggle has two wire spots im sure one is pos and one neg lol more interested in which wire/s should i be going to for on. acc and for start button? anyone done this and has a rough guide

have you asked what your tuner prefers to tune? that will hopfully narow it down.. i personally run a haltech.. running 320kw on a rb25, - 25/30 coming soon - same ecu.

yeah rear is restricted front aint - but engine is together so i will be restricting the vct the best i can and having a custom catch can done with drains and vents in sump and accusump set up - if i really have to and is an affordable option ill get the head taken off and another restrictor in - im still learning - lot of people on SAU have been helpful explaining things and helping me learn (thanks)

Interesting simon - Good info - i have had some issue with the dash connecting ect but haltech fixed that for me -

special if your running anything where your giving the car a hiding - you can set alot of good warnings "in my opinion" i think the warning lights on the das are much better then the standard.. and yes it dose look cool lol - thats my two cents

sorry mate i looked straight over the point you were making - as i had pinned that mini guide - very helpful as i want my box to come out with the engine as well - thanks peeps starting to organise a long list - i have plenty of ti,e as the engin arrives mid january and will slowly finish bits off. i wont be doing the swap till proble may i think due to power cruise end of march (leaving my current engine in for this) then my first child arrives mid arpil - so i am in no rush for this job plenty of time for planning and learning -

i actually am getting help thanks for the concern - i actually made my self sound stupider then i am, which has been cleared up - but i didnt edit the post - what do you mean buy exhaust? i know it is higher, but i thought this was only an issue with the stock intake manifold(which i aint using) what have i missed sorry? thanks to the ppl who have helped

anyone here done a engine swap at home? what crane was used? what should i be looking for in a crane? few people say the ones from super cheap and repco are the same just different brands and are both fine- point in the right direction would be nice cheers

hi guys i am in the process of purchaseing a 25/30 - ill basically but using my current bolt ons on the new motor - my question is when swapping the engine over - should i remove the manifolds then pull the motor out? same with installing will it be easier to fit everything including manifolds then put the motor in? i am planning on removing the box the same time and swap it over and install the box on the new motor and fit it in? any opinions and advice on this? people who have done it - have any tips? - i havnt done this before by i am getting help from a mate who has done this many times - not with a rb tho..

have R33 parts -boot lid $50 and interior - seats and centre console $20 each, rear wing $30., rear tail lights $50 . fuse boxes, rear drive line and arms.. master cylinder $50 other odd bits. have pink label afm and apexi pod filter all as one piece $70 can separate.. r33 gtst ecu $150 R33 stock clutch heeps on it $100.. r33 exhaust cat back with cannon from dump was 90db on my car and flowed 320kw no restrictions.. $200ono my brother travels from sydney to canberra once a week or fortnight so pick up maybe possible in sydney pls pm me as i dont check here often
