yeah im really not sure, the flutter is comming out of the pod.
ill loosen the screw as much as possible and see how it goes

ok i just tightened the top screw as much as possible and took it for a drive, the bov seems to be working much better than before (more of a refined flutter). even at high rpm it still flutters. sounds great but is this bad for the turbo? is a fluttering turbo bad like the flutter from the air hitting the turbo and comming out of the pod?

sorry sky, i took a damn good look but mainly found people trying to sell them.
as far as i can tell there is only 1 outlet.
a spring up the top covered by a rubber seal, then at the side the inlet for the gas from the piping, then down below 1 piston covering the outlet (spring moves inwards)

is there any better gear box oils, coolant and power steering fluid to use in a manual r33 gtst?

mine always seems to flutter, thats why ive gone back to standard.
i dont understand why the standard bov goes out while the hks goes in.
do most after market bov's go in rather than out?

hey guys,
just wondering if anyone has a hks sequential bov?
mine really flutters, alot and i pulled it apart. i think the spring is facing the wrong way. my standard bov pushes open (toward the exit) so the air can escape. the hks' spring pushes away from the exit and i dont see how it works like this.
is this right?

i know how you feel man,
i have a scratch covering every panel down the right hand side, and just to make sure i was pissed the offender scratched the bonnet.

the other day i was changing my springs (back to standard) and i was thinking about putting 18 inch wheels on my car.
The only thing is that the arm that is connected to the wheel seems to be so low i think if i was to put even 17's on it would be rubbing on the tyre.
btw i still have low springs on the car atm until tuesday, could that be the reason why this arm is hanging so low?

my left park light isnt working, but when i put park lights on my right hand head light comes on.
im wondering if anyone knows how to remove the globe to test it?
i had a similar problem when i blew a fuse, that when i put high beam on my tail lights, dash lights and just about every other light would turn off.
could it be a smilar thing? and besides, why is this a problem in the first place? :headspin:

yeah im taking it all out, but when i try to align it all under the wheel arch to put it back in there im having trouble.
i saw your instructions there greg and they have been a big help, i just cant get past this bit lol.
im tightening one compressor each side of the spring but do i do the bolt up the top or down the bottom. (top = cant get spanner in there to undo, bottom = too much thread that eventually gets stuck on the chasis of the car)

ive been trying all day to replace the springs in my car (coz of some yellow thing on my window) :headspin: i can get them off with no trouble at all, theres no tension in them at all because its so low.
putting on standard springs and shocks is proving to be really tough!
im using spring compressors but they seem to twist as i tighten them so when i put them under the wheel arch theres always something or other in the way.
ive searched up and down for posts on it but nothing seems to help so far.
has anyone got any ideas on what else i can try?

just as i left carousel i got pulled over by a cop coz they thought i done a burnout, so anyway i got a sticker.
i think my car is a little bit too low, is there much chance they will pin me for that? it really is border line.
when i put my park lights on my head light comes on too (hehe) so ill need to find a good auto elec to fix that, any recommendations?
oh also if i take it to the pits and fail, do they give me an extention?

im trying to install a RH power window motor because the old one is stuffed, but ive run into a bit of trouble coz i dont know where the spring is suppost to go (the one that almost takes ur finger off(R33_Cam:D)), or how to mount the new motor back in place.
is there any walk through guides out there?

my turbo when under very slight acceleration will make a whistling sound.
sounds like a person whistling or something.
has anyone else got that?
on the weekend i changed back to a standard bov because the other wasnt working correctly, so now the intake sounds from the pod sound completely different too.
thats not a problem is it?

tonight i was riding with my mate, r33 with blue neons.
you cant see the tubes at all only the globes, and the cops
threatened him with a red sticker if they saw them on his car again
and im like wtf??
also if you get a yellow with like 30min on your car, is there anything you can do to extend your time like call the Dept of Trans and tell them to cancel your plates and have your car towed until you can relicence it?

i think they are trying to appeal to the market in the fact it will be easier to control and less chance of spinning out in the wet or on loose ground.
altho i guess it takes all the fun outa it

my friend has offered me a blitz super sound bov from his 200sx (provided it will fit) for my r33.
is there any issues mounting it on to an r33?
