Something i have noticed with the TCM which i have not seen mentioned anywhere as far as i know is that on the standard software,if you have it in R for gearshifts, when you go from auto to manual and vice versa you have to put it back to R each time. With the cobb software it stays in R when you switch from auto to manual and back again, nifty feature as this would always annoy me.

Looks very nice, that colour was my first choice but ended up with black,i bought mine 9 months ago with 8000ks,it was in good cond so i did not wait for a grey one. I got a midpipe a few months ago which is great, and just instaled a cobb 006,you will like this for power but most of all the tcm transforms the 09 tranny! Anyway enjoy your car,its nice to see another perth boy with a r35.
-
Thats a shame, its hard to wait that long,i hope the techs were not hung over from xmas !
-
You will love the willall midpipe, sounds so much better!

Lol you’re joking right! Nissan dealers are the biggest bunch of wankers you’ll ever deal with, least the ones in Sydney anyway. They won’t even let you sit in one! You get lines like ‘Oh we can’t find the keys’ or ‘pay a deposit equal to the full value of the car and we might let you drive it’ What a f..king joke. The problem is that Nissan thinks the sun shines out their arse with this car forgetting that the rest of their cars are ugly and boring as batshit. Go to a Merc or a Porsche dealership and they’re literally throwing keys at you for cars of similar value. The most professional, friendly and courteous people you’ll ever deal with. I was a genuine interested buyer of an R35 and I clearly indicated to the dealer that I did not want to test drive the car but wanted one of their sales team to take me for a quick spin so I could get a feel for what the car was like. Nope not a chance. The GT-R is an awesome car, what shame it’s sold by a bunch of half-wits and dickheads. I’ll be buying 2nd hand and privately when the time comes! [/quote You will not like this then, when i was looking to buy 9 months ago (perth)i took a 2011 for a test drive on a saturday morning then a 2009,when i got back to the dealer i asked if i could keep the 09 for the rest of the week-end,they said i could, ended up buying the 09 a few days later.

i got my 09 gtr 6-7 months ago and had a warranty included with the deal but only got it the other week due to the back and forth with allianz and nissan, not sure what happened exactly but my dealer ended up giving me a 3 yr national warranty. I was told by the dealer the allianz product was not going to cover everything and there was an excess to pay on claims, just before i picked up the paper work i googled national warranties and there was alot of bad press about them,i also went on the web site for them, from memory i think they also had an excess too and very limited amount value wise on each claim. But when i looked through the warranty booklet i received there was no mention of an excess and there is 3 tiers of value to claim up to, plan a)$3000 plan b)$7000 plan c)up to the market value of vehicle at time of the claim. Also you can pick 1.2 or 3 yrs coverage. They gave me 3yrs on plan C,so seems good on paper, but we will have to see when it comes time to use it i suppose.

Ah good to know the cobb tcm does work well, nice to have the power and better shifting tranny,i am just about to pull the trigger on this, def worth it you think ?

Saw this car on a truck on thursday here in perth, was on its way east i would think, would not be long now!
-
If you look at tyre-rack they are also the cheaper ones.
-
I highly doubt this, would be great if true,i was told a two year warranty would be around $3000-$4000 when it comes out, which sounds about right for these cars,i think i paid $1100 for two years on my ve ss ute.

Great footage mate,i think you fly past my car at one point,it was a great day, nice to see every one having a good time.hope to see you at the next track day,now for that mid-pipe........
