From memory, both end tanks were the same size, and likewise with the piping. Looked like this...

have you got any photos of them on a car?

R33 & R34 piping is the same (from memory). Have you tried to fit it on the car? When I first got my Blitz kit, the piping looked wrong, then I spun it around after realising I had it oriented the wrong way. Everything fit perfectly and I lived happily ever after. Got any pics?
