the problem with Rays and other alloy nuts is they fatigue hot cold hot cold, the thread becomes brittle, and yeah they either break off or come un done, now i was atthe circuit mine were loose but .........what was worse was someone else's wheel went past me when i was doing 180+ hate to know the speed of a wheel if i am doing 180 personally looking at some titanium units, 15grams each

now the biggest Q i have is becuase i don't know the honest truth, is the power output the same as a JDM becuase alot of talk but no facts.

I actually spoke to a company today about dry carbon doors for the 35 and Hood, located in sydney went and quick look they say all their products are all 100% dry carbon they weighed something stupid like 5kg a door got some photos having trouble loading them up but yeah very very impressed on the quality finsih, personally a CF whore myself but i hate really cheap/poorly designed carbon it looks like poo

the ones i saw were all standard an basicly had sh%T kicked out of them, look like work horses.

I am sure it has been covered two things trying to find someone in the Bris area for a exhaust for the R35 Prefer titanium including Y pipe 2nd Someone to install it etc to avoid C.E.L light. Help would be appreciated.

a quality mould takes the longest, however your ight it is a one off and no one else will have this item.

depending on the grade of carbon used, how much requied remember this unit is designed not for any aero or strength it is a visual only it is a carbon over glass setup guessing around $300 in materials and approx 12hrs of work thats from start to finish working from ebay and personal knowledge resisn kit in 500ml is approx $45 timber in chipboard $50-100 carbon sheet $100-150 depedning on cut size and grade consumables $50-$75 time p/h $50 x12hr $600 guessing- No labour min $250 with labour min $800 but nice DIY at home if you haev the time.

been follwing this thread for sometime and it goes to show those who just throw a wing on to look good and there are the ones who actually purchase the unit that is designed to do the job, good to see companies like aeromotions, Varis, Voltex actually spend the money in aero tunnels to ensure your getting the right product. I asume aeromotions are a fully wind tunnel tested unit?
