Hi Guys So recently my car has started making a ticking noise under boost. When I rev it neutral or just idling, its all good but when there's load on the engine(under boost) the ticking becomes louder. Is this a symptom of the common cracked exhaust manifold stud on the 33 or something more ominous like the turbo failing? No classic signs of turbo failure like white smoke or whistling sounds. Car also pulls as hard as ever , no effect on performance. Thanks in advance

Hi Guys Have a set of Veilside Andrews in Chrome. Two wheels are damaged and the others are perfectly fine. Front 18x8 +38 offset Rear 18x9 +38 offset 5 x 114.3 PCD These are rare wheels and am letting them go at this price due to the cost of repairs needed to make them perfect again. Should fit Nissan , Mitsubishi , Toyota but confirm bolt pattern before pickup

cheers guys will a 235 40 18 tyre on 18x9 wheels touch anything up the front when turning etc?

sorry to bump 7 yr old thread but saw no point in creating the exact same thread... found really cheap new rims to get me by but they are 8' wide and i need to fit 255's on them i know its preferable to fit 235's on 8' wide wheels but is fitting 255's dangerous in anyway?(no track work , just a light daily driver)

magman quoted me a max of 150/wheel. going to drop of wheels to him today

hmm, this means i have to get the car to pedders and have it highered before putting the stock ones on as well..another hassle.. honestly...i dont see myself spending money on quality rims for some time , got alot of other stuff to do first. would love to just get these fixed....if possible... got a reply from these guys,they claim the wheel isn't fixable hope they are wrong http://www.wheel-fixit.com/

well looking at estimates after research it seems to be about 150-170 per wheel to fix it. two more tyres and thats about $500. Dont want to have to waste time finding some povo rims , fir them on , then save up again (unfortunately because of uni and work my priorities are not my car anymore so all mods are on hold until my savings are back up).. prefer to spend abut $500,get my car back on the road and leave it as that

thanks , but i wasnt asking for your opinion on the wheels itself , i love how they look on the car and dont have the money right now to splurge on those set of xxr's ive always wanted. just trying to ascertain whether its worth repairing those two(or even possible) or should I simply go out and drop a few hundred on a set of povo rims?

Hi Guys So I span out and hit the left hand side both rims + tyres against the sidewalk. Both right sides are okay. Front left will not hold air, back left will hold a small amount air. Are these fixable? If so , how much on average and any recommendations on whom to take it to ?
