  1. If I may add my two cents... I was the Skyline owner who looked at Rob's Series 5, bad timing and an unhelpful bank stopped me from buying Rob's car. The Series 5 is an awsome car, IMHO it looks twnty times better then a R32, and five times better then a R33 (I own a R33....After I went in Robs car the R33 felt like a Commodore). One day I will have one of these, they impressed me so much I'm even thinking of selling my Skyline, taking a bit of a loss and buying a Rx2 or Rx3..Save ****ing hard and getting a "off its head" Rx7 in a couple of years.
  2. Morgs. I heard you own half of southern sydney ?
  3. My car was stalling too, I have a ATMO Bov. I knew it wasn't just the Bov so I took it too Just Jap in Sydney...They have the computer to plug into the ECU... The ECU said that the power steering sending wasn't working, replaced and all good. if the sender is rooted it won't adjust the revs for the steering, thus when you on low revs, like when your turning into a car park...the engine will stall becuase of the load from the power steering... just something else to check.
  4. I think the cams in there are pretty good, but I have heard of RB25DE cam being used on the inlet side of things...
  5. The front seats are pretty low, you might find it hard to see over the dash board ???
  6. There is a R32 GTR in there...I think its actually made to be at the front of the pack ...at an angle...
  7. I realize the Power FC is a full replacement computer. But if you don't know what a SAFC is then how can you can it dodgey ??? Not everyone wants to replace the computer and have the hassles of tunning one fully, its not as straight cut as it seems. A Apexi SAFC is a great air/fuel intercpetor to get an extra 18-20rwkw's. If your not going injectors/coolas/turbos, whats the point of a PFC ??? An exhaust, bleed valve and SAFC can produce pretty good results. If the car was tunned to use 12psi that isn't a problem, since going down in boost would richen the mix...messy and still screws with performance, but if you actually go the opposite way you can lean out which is a problem.....piston gets a little too big for the hole.......thus must question (and lack of understanding - yes!) on if the load points or fuel map will sense the extra boost.. it has been somewhat answered yes....
  8. If you increase boost pressure after a S.A.F.C. or Power FC has been tunned, do you stuff up all the fuel maps ? I know that increased boost would load up the fuel system more, would this mean that a tune set to 12psi would lean out if you increase boost ? Or can the S.A.F.C. or Power FC sense this and adjust the fuel maps accordingly using the extra pressure/air flow sensed ? Thanks... Andrew

  10. Sorry. I goofed up.
  11. Pounds per Square Inch. PSI is new Bar is old 1 Bar of Boost equals 14.7 psi of boost.
  12. I wonder if Bobbin Head could be re-surfaced if we all asked nicely... I wonder if the gate is still locked ? To the road of dreams there....
  13. I agree, no point in destorying a perfectly good RX7...
  14. Bullcrapola The RX7 is the best. Maybe its a GTT (which is still a mighty fine car)..I remember another shot which had two "R34" lookalikes, in the same paint as that Skyline...but they do look a little flat on the sides for a R
  15. Ryan is the king of the Sydney Street Racing Scene. Becareful - he has hard connections...
  16. I was listening to Nova (96.9 for Syd People) one night. They had the bloke on who complies all the crime data for NSW. I may not be 100%, but at least 90% right in my figures here : Your 7 times more likely to have your car stolen in Sydney then compared to NYC and London Your 4 times more likely to have your house broken in Sydney then NYC or London Your 2 times less likely to be effected but volient street crime in Sydney then NYC or London And I think he said both London and NYC had downturns in Crime compared to Sydney rising. Again, our laws and policing of them at the moment is a joke. I don't care if the offenders are white, black, arab, jewish, male, gay, or dead...the offenders must be brought to justice. This has too stop somewhere. Bring the troops back from the gulf and get them to fight the war at home!!!!! And guess what, if you try and defend your self....well we all know who gets fu(ked up then don't we:mad:
  17. How many Sileighties are there in Australia ? Aren't worth around the same as a R32 GTR ?

  19. LOL..I'll have to pay on that one!
  20. If GTi-R's where sooooo good they would be in GT3, their not so they must be craploa.
  21. Anyone interested in real kart racing ? The 18/01/03 is probably the first club meeting of the year of the north shore kart club. Be good if a few people on the forums took up karting as a semi-serious sport. Hire karts are fun...but the 2 strokes scream. Some of the higher priced ($15k+) 6 speed 250cc sprint karts used to reach 180kph on the long (since removed because of water damage....) straight of East Creek! Andrew
  22. New game called Burn Out : 2 is an excellent drift game...You actually have to drift to pass a test. Drifting also gains boooost...
