  1. Christian Unsure buddy. We weren't even sure if it would actually fit a S14 either...Since it came off a S15 we decided to advertise it as such...Sorry. But I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
  2. For Sale. $400.00 200SX S15 Silvia Cat Back Exhaust System. Unknow Jap Brand. Usable Condition, I think it's a combo of 3 and 3 1/4 Inch Mild Steel. PM if interested. Its pretty loud with a nice tone. NO OFFERS SORRY... Pictures :
  3. Does anyone know if defect notices attract double McPoints this Loooong Weekend ? As in, "Too Loud Defect". A.
  4. I tried to post this at TAFE, but the computer screwed up. And a few people have already posted... BUT. What I wanted to write at the time... I think the attitude really really sucks on this. I wouldn't count me as a Greenie at all. The removal of a cat is just plain stupid, and isn't going to be doing any of us any favours. The modified car scene is already tainted as it is without giving the local powers that be another reason to crack down on us.....All for a few kilowatts of power which I bet you couldn't even notice. The cat, sa far as I understand, is there in an effort to change the raw exhaust gas to something which is alittle less harsh and can fliter back into the air as cleanly as possible. Tell me, how offen have you been pissed off with a car in front spewing rotten gas onto you and your car ? Why join them..... If your off to the racetrack, yeah sure fit the pipe to bypass the cat...But for street use, when the car is going to burn most of its fuel.....I can't see a cuase for not having a cat....geezz you can even get high flow cats!!! ........That was my ramble.. NO CAT=DUMB. ANDREW
  5. Well said, Well said. Is that YOUR Mullet ? Heard of Nazxul ?
  6. i think merli said it before...but is there any point to gutting a cat for 3 or 5 extra Kw's? over the cost of health and the environment ?????? 3inch from turbo to high flow cat, 31/4 cat back. Lag shouldn't be a problem.
  7. What sort of fuel pump did you use ? GTR ? did youm use the standard fuel regulator ?
  8. Word. R33GTS-t Say for a setup which consists of a frount mount intercooler, full 3 inch exhaust, cold air intake, standard turbo at 12psi what would be the expected increase of a Power FC over a S.A.F.C. fitted to this setup ? And same question on the same system with a standard turbo high flowed for 16psi ? I know one benefit would be the removal of the speed/boost restrictors....but I'm interested if there is a major gain between the fitting of a S.A.F.C. over a Power FC ANDREW
  9. A piece of equipment used to aline the chassis rails after a nasty hit. It is possible to confuse marks with some type of marks left by normal jacks. If you see little divot type marks all the way along the chassis rail it probably a better chance then not a chassis straightener. ouch! They use it also to check the chassis aswell, so it might not of been "pulled" back into true if you see them...
  10. Look for crimp marks on the chassis rails, if it has crimps - steer clear.
  11. As usual, check with a local workshop...but as far as my limited knowledge goes : The factor of an engines life is depenant on a) How well you treat it, servicing etc etc. B) What mods are done to the engine, the more boost the less life etc etc. c) Luck. The SR20 has either the T25 or T28, pretty sure its a T28, which has a steel wheel and is pretty useful up to about 1 Bar or 15psi (yes its really 14.7psi!), the turbo could probably do upto 18psi but you start running into heatsoke intercooler problems and maxing out your injectors. Of course other turbos are available. SR20's can be prone to blowing headgaskets and know to lift their head under heavy boost (this is a matter of opinon.) Which is solved by having the head bolts drilled out and replaced with larger items. Or just add a metal headgasket, and be careful. Intercooler, many people can help you out in Sydney. Alot of people use the HKS/Apexi/Trust etc etc...personally I'd save some cash and use someone local with a good rep...ask around your area. Any good intercooler shop should be able to get your desired result on the piping side of things. Computers. Apexi PFC, you really can't go past it for a street appilcation. If you after big power, one of the first things I'd do would be upgrade of the fuel system. The SR20 is a great motor, the boost hit is very powerful, and they produce results from their mods. What car is it in ? 200SX, Silvia, 180SX or GTi-R ???
