G'Day Looking at an open boot you have the battery on the left and two silver computer like boxes mounted on top of each other on the right, which one is the Hi-CAS (if at all) Control ? Do I just yank it out to disable the Hi-CAS ? Ta Andy

Good to have tools. Better to have a mate with the Large Snap-On Chest of Tools...$23k worth. With all the special little Knic-Nacks...Testing Lights, extentions etc etc. You know what be the best tool. A hoist, how mad would it be to have your own hoist.

12A NA Injectors are 1000cc (only two injectors used on the engine) Or series 4 13b turbo ones are around 550cc mark Mazda injectors are hell cheap too.

I agree, as along as you show support for the club and car and don't bring either into disrepute then fine...come on in. It would probably be limiting the size of the club by resticting it, as soon as people find out about the quality and enjoyment of owning a Skyline weather is be the first GTR in 1969 by Prince or the latest skyline concept from renault...it only increase the actually cars in teh club that are skylines. I think we can drawn the line on WRX owners maybe ??? hehehe Would it be jumping the gun to expect to see a club Super Sprint Championship (which of course should only be open to Skys) next year ??? Maybe 3 or 4 rounds ? four classes ?

Can anyone (with expirence) recommend a shop in Sydney to fully check out a RB25DET, and replace anyworn compotents. I want to start modifiying my car and need to ensure the engine is healthy before I start. At the same time I want the rings replaced and the cylinders honed for good measure regardless. Thanks ANDREW plus. whats the best configuration in exhaust, should you go 3inch all the way through ? or 3-1/4inch dump to 3-1/4 inch turbo back to HF cat and 3inch cat back ?? Or is this combo wrong ? think about keeping the right compression and not getting it too loose.

Where would be the best place to measure boost levels before the intercooler ? I want to use a std. boost gauge setup, ie:T-Piece type and hook it in similar to the way its done off the fuel reg line. Anyone know the pressure drop (and a figure if possible) after the intercooler ? Last and not least is there any formula for working out the shaft rpm of the turbo vs boost pressure ? what would be the safe limit of the RB25DET Turbos T3 shaft ? Thanks Andrew

Maybe we can get someone you has a knowledge of both areas to detail a nice route, I personally love the mountian type twisty stuff, some quite back mountain passes ? Plus theres always heaps of cops on the main route to Canberra...

I used to run Mobil 1. BUT, just as a treat one day and I liked the name I tried Royal Purple, there is no point in trying to sell it. You just have to try it yourself and see the results. I couldn't believe that oil would make such a difference.
