Conversion and mods Doubt you'd get a track worthy CA18DET S13.... Commodore might be a good thing.

Your boost gauge may not be reading the correct pressure. You may be hitting the boost limiter.

You would use a totally different line when raciong down a open road by yourself, compared to racing on a track with a need to defend a racing line. His Class time on the day would decide if his good or not.

I know neither too make a call either way. But, does the Wolf ECU not have a knock warning sensor ??? I know the Power FC does at least have a visual of how much your engine is knocking on the read out on the handset. The Wolf is a local product right ? How many people can tune them in Sydney would be my first and major question. Especially if you are running stock turbos.

FYI...F1 is in their testing ban for 3 weeks now. From the locals I was with, its very hard too get a tour of the factory.

I assume you don't know anyone in Italy ? Marranello, I think would be pretty hard too get too. Its a basically a very small town based around a race track and the Ferrari Factory and Shops, Museum. There would have too be transport from Milan or Veronia. Very much worth it. It is seriously in the middle of no where. One main street. Try and get there around midday, or knock off time, its worth too see all the mechanics in their unforms going home. If your lucky you might see something running around the track.

Everyone knows this. Explain why on multiple occassions Shell reads a lower oxygen rating and slower lap times then other PULP ? I think you might find, and correct me if I'm wrong with proof, that each company also adds there own special mixes too the fuel at the same refinery. Or... ring a marine shop, and ask them what fuels they suggest you use and WHY.....

If you want to treat a copper like an idiot eg: "Its a stock N/A sir, I swear", then you will be treated like a smartarse and probably have the book thrown at you. Also, as mentioned, what happens if you kill someone, maim or just destory someone else's car and don't have any insurance ? Just a case of "I hope no one saw me hit that person/car?". Your not allowed too have a turbocharged car - accept it.

Sounds like you know a bit, if you can pull the turbos off yourself. Have you overlooked : -BOV stuck open or leaking ? -Really bad exhuast manifold crack or leak ? -Electronic Boost Controller/Mechanical Boost Controller opening the wastegates at .00001 psi ?

The performance gains are not worth : 1. The damage it would do too the environment. 2. The damage it would do too your wallet. Your driving a street car, not a race car.

Word Of Mouth & Testing Fact. Shell has alot of cleaning agents added too the mix. These additives make the engine poor poorly, but cleans your engines. I had too have my fuel tested one day, I was using Shell, the tester commented that the optimax fuel tends too have lower oxygen rating, and for performance, mobil or bp where perferred. Caltex Vortex isn't a bad mix either.
