  1. Piece of piss mate. Just unplug the hose from the sender unit to the plenum... measure it up and buy a new one. Then plug back in. While you're there, try locking it in place with cable ties so it doesn't work loose.
  2. Thanks buddy I like it because it's not over the top.
  3. About 99% sure it's your sender unit. Exactly the symptoms of a sender unit on it's way out.
  4. R34 GTT Aero kit is plastic.
  5. As Stan said, it's the black box by your brake master cylinder, it's called the Pressure Sender Unit. They'll die after a while, but you can usually source them from wreckers pretty cheaply. Simple swap one bolt.
  6. When I first got into cars, it was nothing but nissans/datsuns in the family. 1600 datto, datto stanza, nissan bluebird, nissan pintara ti, nissan exa... after doing up the old datto and exa I figured it was time to keep nissans in the family. So i went for an R32 GTS with an RB20DET conversion.. loved it to bits, it sounded gorgeous, it handled well and it was the most reliable car of the lot, so saved a few and got an R34. Best decision ever.
  7. That's an awesome price for rims in that condition.
  8. Just wanna say, hope your dad does well mate.
  9. Definately wasn't me buddy... wasn't around that way, and no wing. Oh.. spotted ecenshu around my area, wtf double defect bro??? damn.
  10. If anyone's playing Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD : Remix... add me!
  11. Is that the one with the carbon bonnet and those ugly ass crystal tail lights? That's a really rough car on close inspection.
  12. LOL @ this comment posted on that video "No no no. You guys don’t get it. This car is designed to protect the occupants of the opposing vehicle. The Chery Amulet itself, the whole car, is the crumple zone."
  13. Yep just tap the current voltage line.. or anything with a live wire. My old voltage gauge ran off the cig lighter.
  14. I think you'll have to run a sandwich plate on your oil filter... that's how most of the people here go about replacing the GTT triple gauge with aftermarket gauges.
  15. Yeah you'll definately need the front indicators off a S1 - and you won't need anything else, the S2 fb swap is a common one (S2 FB is an ugly thing ain't it). Lemme know if you need front indicators, i think i've still got mine around somewhere.
  16. Which FB are you looking at getting? Most cater for the S1-S1.5 lights.
  17. This i gotta see...
  18. If you're talking the Blitz range of EBC's, Dual solenoids are recommended for twin turbo and high boost setups, and Single Solenoids are suited to more modest boost applications. There's two physical solenoids in the one housing on the dual solenoid version - both act to help control boost. As a downside to having a dual solenoid... the actual solenoid unit sticks out like a sore thumb under your engine bay - it's huge. See the attached picture : But it does do it's job very well.
  19. Without the wing I reckon
  20. What mr fanny said.. wife's uncle car was targetted by indonesian car theft gangs ordered by a general in the indo army then taken across the border from malaysia to indonesia. Once it's across the border you have stuff all chance of ever getting you car back. They usually take it to another country and rebirth it there. Normally though they target big four wheel drives rather than sports cars.
  21. Third world? It's malaysia.. not afghanistan. Crime rates are probably just as bad here as they are there.
  22. No worries bud Just happy I could help someone out.
  23. In SA, TransportSA specifies that the maximum track for a 1998+ R34 GTR is 1506 front and 1516 rear. That prob isn't much help to you, but might be worth ringing up and asking.
  24. Damn.. it's either at Singapore, Thailand, or Indonesia by now. Similar thing happened to my wife's uncle in Malaysia... Lexux Harrier 4WD, stolen by indonesians.... it had some really important documents in the car. He found it out it was at the wharf on the border, apparently the General of the army was responsible for ordering the car to be stolen.. he was real cocky about it too.. my wife's uncle said, well if you're not gonna give me the car back, then at least give me the documents... the General said to him, "sure just come on down, and i'll let you eat a bullet".. fking hardcore shit right there. In the end, my wife's uncle paid him something like $1500 bucks for the documents.. so not only did he lose his car, he had to pay the general money!! fking ridiculous.
  25. Here's the current version.. i called up Vehicles Standards and asked the gentleman to send it over. IB44__August_2008_long_Version.pdf August 2008
