  1. Say's it's for Honda there.. but on the packaging it says ER34 GTT 98 onwards.
  2. Nice! Can I ask .. is that an East Bear mole? Did you have to get another bonnet to fit that on?
  3. Ask ido09s.. he's done it.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/S1...html&hl=s15
  4. Looks hot mate! Great work.
  5. Very nice pick up mate.. looks hot as. Btw, you should have your seats wet cleaned..they'll come up beautiful.
  6. I'm still not sure what the correlation between coils misfiring between gear changes and the traction control system is.. but yeah try it out and post back the results.. i'm really curious now. Can you give us a run down of modifications?
  7. Great write up mate.. well done!
  8. It could be a range of issues (e.g. bald tyres, weather), what makes you think that the coil packs could be causing the traction control system to engage? What happens when you disengage TCS does the problem go away? Because the easy solution is to grab Dan666's TCS bypass module.
  9. If you run out of options in WA, i've got a spare set of GTT front rotors for the 34 which I haven't got around to fitting. Btw, I did call ABS in Adelaide they have them and wanted something like $500 for them.. i politely told them where to go LOL. Other option of course is Nissan, but that's if you really run out of places to try.
  10. I think you're able to just run it to ground.
  11. Umm.. check the donation thread, you can get your inbox size increased if you support the sau site.
  12. For spares only i'm afraid. I went through this before, you can't do anything with the title (e.g. change ownerships etc) - and I was told both by my compliancer and RTA that it was illegal for the previous owner to sell you a defective vehicle.
  13. Dead set sexy mate! Have I said before how much I want your bonnet?
  14. bwhah... i was just gonna say ask roger, but then madgt4 beat me to it
  15. Legally you can't sell a defected car in SA unless it's as a wreck for spares only.
  16. Here's what it says on their website. Remember this is also just a vehicle identity check.. you will still need to do your own Vehicle Security Check (to see if there any encumbrances on the car).
  17. Sturt technically is for people who do not reside in the metro adelaide area and cannot get to Regency easily - it says so on the rta website (although many people don't seem to have problems taking their car for the vehicle check). As for pre-inspection.. just tell us what it's got and we'll tell you if it's likely to be passed.
  18. Take it the driver wasn't a bloke then huy?
  19. Been covered several times before.. but seeing you're new. yes you need to go for a "vehicle identification check" at regency if you happen to live in metropolitan adelaide. Although they're not there specifically to defect you, you still can't have obvious defects .. such as too dark tint, excessively low, turbo timers, boost controllers and the like.
  20. Looks nice mate.. good job.
  21. wish i took photos mate.. but i'll try to describe it as well as i can. 1. Following instructions in the first post, remove the steering column cover. 2. Twist to remove the bulb holder. 3. Using a pair of pliers remove/break the bulb. 4. Remove the bulb filament with the pliers, you should then see two holes. 5. Take your blue led bulb, and straighten the legs (two wires + & -) out on it. 6. Chop off the legs to make them shorter. 7. Reinsert. The Dan666 T5s supplied ones just fit the bulb holder, so once squeezed in they should be a really tight fit and unlikely to come out. 8. Test and then reassemble column cover. Having said the above, I wouldn't really recommend doing it this way and a new wedge bulb holder type holder is definately the more reliable way to go.. so do the above at your own risk. Although it's just a led light, you do really end up destroying the bulb/holder in one thing by performing this mod.
  22. You're right nuffsaid.. it is a bulb in base design. So no wedge. I had a look at mine, tried to pull it off to no avail. So what i did was smash the globe (harsh I know), and then wired the feet of the led directly onto the base. A bit of stuffing around I know. But it looks trick.
  23. Get a Razo RA89 shiftknob.. they're made for the R34. Mine's being sent down from this bunch as we speak.. http://www.carbeyondstore.com/auto-parts/R...uto-Shift-Knob/
  24. hahha.. that's pretty funny stuff. TGIF.
