  5. Nice work mate.. coincidence as I just did a similar job with my east bear lip, i'll try to get my diy article up shortly too.
  6. He was just saying on msn that the red light comes on with the headlights and there isn't a switch to turn this off.. so perhaps the previous owner wired it up to the brake lights?
  7. It's mandatory to have the red light in parts of northern europe due to their snowy foggy climate (R34 GTR has them stock for this reason). As for if it's legal, technically you can't have them on much like foglights on the front unless it is of course foggy. To switch it off, you can simply pull a bulb off it. Or you can swap with my clearie if you want
  8. No worries buddy.
  9. mine came with 6" fronts - 6" rears. though I think you can fit at least 5x7's in the rear possibly 6x9's (but you wouldn't wanna .. yuck).
  10. What you might have to do is send your key to a Nissan that knows what they're doing... in the states with the G35 spare key (essentially a V35 key with similar transponder) what you do is goto the Infinity dealer and give them your vin number and they'll charge you $90 for the coding. I'll have a look around on the american forums for you on a local solution. Edit: yep just looked on G35driver site and it appears that it's a dealer only thing.
  11. I'm not familiar with the V35 setup - is it worth investigating if you can use a transponder bypass from an aftermarket alarm then getting a regular key cut?
  12. If i had a screen that'd be cool, but mine's got the three guages now

  16. Mate, just have a read around the car audio forums - chris is one of the most respected guys here in terms of his helpfulness and knowledge of skyline audio installations. He's not trying to make a buck here.
  17. What luke said... you can go in from the inner drivers side guard. It's near your brake fluid.
