  1. The above phase goes until about 2018... and that stretches from the bridge under construction through to the old wharf and further away from Garden Island. So at the moment they don't have plans building any closer to etsa power facilities and garden island... and you'd still be looking another decade or more away at least. They'd first probably have to move the power facilities if they were looking at expanding newport down that way.
  2. Here's the NewPort Quays map. Is this another development you're referring to?
  3. Here's the site... I've got a NewPort Quays map here, doesn't show much in the way of housing developments this end of the Port.
  4. Hiya Joe, looking forward to seeing you about the place. Welcome to SAU buddy.
  5. Well done Leeman! Congratulations to you and Jacqui! All the best with it mate.
  6. Damn man! Some serious shit right there... your ride's beautiful mate, shame to hear what the c**ts did with it.
  7. Aw man this is just getting stupid as. Not looking forward to seeing our insurance premiums going up next year.
  8. Ah damn you why didn't you take pics for us!! Can't wait to see one in the flesh on Adelaide streets though.
  9. Was just gonna say.. spotted you buddy Bright blue who'd miss it! Noice mate.
  10. Well that bites the big one :S
  11. Was just about to say.. that ain't expensive! Considering you'd also be getting a set of near new tyres too
  12. Top work mate!
  13. You're assuming it's not hardware... the reason I suggested Adelaide, was because I use a group who deal primarily with restoring data for the DoD and the higher education sector.. i've used them plenty of times and I trust them. They aren't backyarders, the owner holds a doctorate in computer systems engineering. Exactly... if the data isn't *that* critical, then go your hardest... even try swapping the platter over to a replacement hard drive if you want. If it is software, then you're laughing then aren't you
  14. Yep Primordial's right... has to be a hermetically sealed area. Oh well, if your data is priceless then that'd be your best bet. Easy there son, just trying to help a brother out here.
  15. Me? Nope. I work with pretty critical data though, defence / health records etc... if it's a screwed ntfs header we just fix that using a hex editor, if the drive sounds like it's crashed, we usually send it to the experts. If we try formatting it, or reading off the crash drive, it could make things a lot more difficult to recover for the data specialists, so we tend to leave it alone.

  17. Well if they're gonna start selling the car in Australia they're gonna need some flash ads... I think it's plausible that it was shot in the Hills, it's got some wicked roads there. So will be interested to hear from anyone who can confirm this.
  18. If it's a bad header.. that's a crap price... if it's a crashed hardie then i've seen worse prices than $270. But seriously, if the data is that important, e.g. you have your 4 years thesis on it or something without a backup, then it's not much to pay.
  19. Take it down to a data recovery company immediately... $270 is a reasonable price for the work involved. Do not try recovery software or touch the drive.. you could be making subsequent recovery more difficult if you try. If your documents mean anything to you, get an expert to look at it. I know of a few places in Adelaide that do recovery, just pm me if you want more info.
  20. Sorry to hear about your predicament Tangles Yes i've been promised everything by the health profession, and so far nothing has delivered.... so I understand your pain mate. Not being able to get up to goto work, having to deal with specialists, operations, the mental toll it takes, looking after your family at the same time (the only reason I keep doing what I'm doing), going overseas to find treatment, financial burdens.. yeah life can throw some mean shit at you sometimes, and you wanna throw it all in, but then you think about all the people who depend on you. Hope you recover well mate.
  21. I don't think he's referring to people who cannot physically work... it's those who voluntarily decide they don't want to work and would rather bludge/steal off others.
  22. It's not for defence, it's just to go hunting.. and seeing as we don't do much of it these days, i was thinking of getting rid of it. But.... as you say, bogans, druggies, people who disrespect your shit, etc really f**k this nice place up. Totally agree... most cities in asia have a relatively low crime rate. Even some of the dodgy poor areas you'd feel safer walking through than say 'lizbeth (no offence to our 'lizbeth residents).
  23. Looks alright on a GTR, but on a GTT it looks like this... Nice but less stealthy I think.
