  1. Use a diminishing abrasive like Meguires Diamond Cut over the windscreen with either a buffer or a lint free cloth. I posted a thread about this last year in the styling forum.
  2. No matter where you park, if people want to do your car they'll do car, be it in the driveway of your home or at TTP. If you spend most of your time worrying about it, then you really can't enjoy the car for what it is. I'm with madaz, get insurance, get an alarm, and if it gets nicked start again.
  3. +1 for Blitz DSBC... can run 4 different settings, overboost and have control of how much cut when you get to the limiter. Dual solenoid makes it great for GTR's or those running high levels of boost.
  4. None taken, i'm not in ITS And in about 4 weeks time, we'll be running our own IT systems. Ok, i'll stop spamming the thread ... i'll leave this in PM.
  5. You me both Daniel. You at ITS?
  6. got a front on view? i find that the headlight covers make it look more menacing at a distance.
  7. Nice one Cara.. got any side shots? Your 34 looks sorta like mine with the nismo stripes running down the side and the eyelids.
  8. best 13.0L/100km, worse 16.0L/100km, average is around 14.0L/100km - R34 Tiptronic.
  9. nice one... i work in the city too, would love to get out for coffee/lunch sometime, although i'm usually eating my lunch at my desk (i don't get long lunches).
  10. Spotted new member Stang (???) in the R31 today on Marion Road. Sounds nice off the line buddy. Very smick looking car too.
  11. Nice as... i'm after the black lip for the nismo 34 front bar. Top quality stuff east bear.
  12. the guy disrespected your car... he deserves to be ousted in public i say. Good on you for taking it further.
  13. bwhahhaha... he's a bit psycho ain't he! lol
  14. Got waved through a defect station on rundle street few nights ago... the cop seemed friendly enough, asked me if this was a 34, if it was an awd gtr, i said yeah it's a 34 but just a gtt. he just said nice, checked that i had rego and let me go. A WRX and a convertible peogeot was pulled over before me and defected. so i guess it's just pot luck as to who gets defected.
  15. What mikyel said, i've had the battery disconnected several times and that's how you engage neutral with no power.
  16. same deal.. how much? and can you make for a 34gtt with nismo bar?
  17. Looks nice mate!
  18. It the original fits the same holes then why not. Or get a carbon boot, for around $600. The side bits i didn't get a separate quote on, but most of the work was for the side parts.. looked like someone had sprayed the car with an uzi.. what a mess it was.
  19. Work in a Data Management and Analysis Centre of one of the main universities. Also self employed consultant. The bluray penetration has been phenomenal - it's no surprise considering the benefits HD has over DVD. What's more, is that the Japanese have developed an extremely high definition video with about 10-15 times the definition of bluray/hd. So i can definately see bluray replacing DVD's altogether in the near future - especially with bluray burners being made cheaper everyday. 4.5gb DVD's just don't cut it these days.
  20. Also being in the industry here, and my feelings are that the battle ground is not on the gaming architecture itself but the war between HD-DVD and BluRay. Before the PS3, HD-DVD's were outselling BluRay like 4-1, since the PS3 launch in USA and UK - pretty much overnight BluRay titles outsold HD-DVD's. Now it's just been announced that BlockBuster have decided to exclusively stock BluRay discs. Effectively Sony has won the format war. That has flow-on effects for the company, in that it owns most of the major film and music labels. It was a simple but risky strategy for Sony, that's paid off, big time for them.
  21. gidday adz... yep, and the rear lights also (they didn't match properly to the boot when done). 34's look clean without a spoiler PE2's a nice system... impressed by the quality of japanese exhausts, everything just slotted perfectly into place. no hassles at all doing this at home... as for my split pipe and cat... that wasn't as straight forward as I would've liked - was about an inch out everywhere.
  22. say $250 shipped - can deposit into your account today.
  23. Saw a white 34 last night travelling down grand junction road turning onto pt wakefield. looked sweet
  24. In case you guys are interested... i did a clip of the Trust PEII + batmbl split on the 34 - i think the x-force is based off this design no? (note : sounds a little deeper under load)
  25. Nice fix. Or you can use a diminishing abrasive like meguires scratch-x or heavy cut to polish it up.
