  1. Nah... mate of mine got an S15, and seriously you'd be happy with either cars - they're both very good cars. But I find the 34 more of a livable day to day... I often carry alot of gear, and passengers, plus I prefer a 6 cylinder.
  2. ha.. thx for the link patrick, i'm at work though - so i might wait till i get home to check it out. showbags.. hmmm i dare not ask haha
  3. so besides hookers what else is on there? never been before.
  4. not really related to your sale, but got pics of your led tail lights?
  5. Have you noticed this under load ? The 34 like the 33 is limited to .5 bar until you hit 3500rpm. Goto fourth and kick back to third, then double check that it hits .7 bar. Generally speaking the 34 factory boost gauge is fairly accurate, when it does begin to play up you get an all or nothing reading. I've had a autometer boost gauge, blitz electronic boost gauge, and the factory boost gauge and they all are pretty accurate. Stan (satanic) also runs three boost gauges and finds the factory one pretty close to the mark on the 34's. Also do a hard ecu reset in case it's your AFM playing up.
  6. Chassis rigidity of a R34 GTT is greater than that of a R33 GTR according to Nissans Sales Brochure.
  7. Just pointing out that there was another thread comparing similar cars... thought you'd find it interesting. But even still, only you can be the judge.. i cut my list down to those three cars, and ended up with a R34 GTT, almost got an S15.
  8. Yep there was another thread on this S15 vs WRX Sti vs R34. I think the general consensus was WRX Sti (for outright speed) then the R34 GTT then the S15.
  9. Just do a quick search on the forums for Delvac, many guys here use the stuff. Quoting cubes from another post
  10. Perfectly safe to use delvac in skylines. And you can buy the stuff at the Mobil distributor on Athol Street, Athol Park.
  11. That RS4 had something like 500 horsies though didn't it?
  12. Spotted 2DIE4 ... white R33 skyline on KWS this morning.
  13. Update guys: Car has been recovered. One of the members from nissansilvia.com spotted the car dumped in mile end. We rocked up there, and there it was in one piece. Everything seemingly intact to our surprise. The car's back in it's home now. Anyhow thanks for keeping a look out SAU - much appreciated by the owner and friends.
  14. That's hot mate! Nice job.
  15. Ahh, i see. Thanks for the confirmation mate.
  16. Would like to know too how to diagnose and change a shift solenoid. Btw, is it normal when the car is cold that it keeps you from changing to fourth?
  17. Spotted Vange this morning 8.30 going west bound on torrens road. Gave you a wave, looked like you were in a bit of a rush
  18. GREAT PICS! Good to see the SAU guys in there.
  19. Sorry to hear that mate. that ain't cool. Someone scratched mine not long ago either, spewing they got three panels too. Hey, I should mention that a family member witnessed a orange or brown coloured car around the 200ZR at the time it was stolen. Cheers
  20. Where'd you get yours chipped if I may ask?
  21. Stolen Z31 200ZR Please keep a look out for my mate's Z31 200ZR stolen from his driveway in Mawson Lakes. If you're not familiar with what a 200ZR looks like, it's basically a 300ZX with an RB motor. It's a bit of a rare beast. Please pm me if you have any ideas, or call police directly if you see it on the streets. Plate number is not what is on the pics... the SA plate number is : BB 553U Thanks Update : Should mention that a family member witnessed a orange or brown coloured car around the 200ZR at the time it was stolen. Update 23/04 : another update... a member from another forum has spotted the car joyriding around mawson lakes area (doing ringies at a roundabout 2-2.30pm) today (23rd April 2007). The description of the guy is - Surfy looking, brown hair with alot of blonde in it.
  22. Have had two K&N's on the car... pod and panel, but now swapped over to a Blitz Power-SUS LM pod filter. Primary reason being, its non-oiled.
  23. My first set went at 68,000kms on my last car. It's not just R34 notorious for coil failure, it's basically any nissan car pre-2001 that uses the coil pack system. CA/SR/RB's.
