  1. Sounds great. Hoping to have one on my 34 shortly also. Say stan, did you have a boost controller when you had your original turbo? if so what did you set it at?
  2. Been told by shuan duns from boostworks that the stock 34 tiptronic box can hold 240rwkw.
  3. Beaten to the the punch by abo_bob. Nice try though.
  4. As mentioned before why not just post it up here? At least someone else would benefit if they did a search.
  5. The R34's normally come with an immobiliser that's resistance driven. I.e. if you have a new key cut by your locksmith and it fits into the ignition barrel, just by having the key there it will disable the immobiliser. So therefore you don't necessarily need the remote central locking part coded if you don't want. Those of you who are wondering if you have a resistance driven immobiliser need only look at your working key, and see if there are two small scratch marks towards the end that you hold your key with. Therefore if you try to hook up a remote start system with a third party alarm, you'll need a kit that will bypass the factory immobiliser. GKTech do one with the viper alarms (option). If you have any questions about bypassing the factory immobiliser check out my thread i posted under security forum. And the man on sau to speak to is installer Chris Rodgers ... he knows everything you'd want to know about the r34 immobiliser.
  6. I used Meguires Diamond Cut for the headlights, came up a treat. Yeah basically you need something with diminishing abrasives and a strong cutting compound.
  7. Hey michael i can't see the pic of it.
  8. Just a question... how'd it sound on an auto btw?
  9. It's a regulation thing in some states (not SA). One intake modification.
  10. My my that looks very nice. It'd probably look better with the center caps on rather than off though.
  11. That's heaps tough mate. Sounds awesome too.
  12. If that's proper vinyl sticker @ $5 bucks shipped, i'd say grab them if you still can. Last time I did the nissanexa.com stickers, they were about $10, and about double that for silver metallic. Anyhow, splice makes some awesome stickers (he did all the jms cars for autosalon last year), so i'm going to stick with him for this run. Heslo if you can get a hold of the font, that would be awesome. Nozilla, i'm more inclined to go with the simple web one also. I was thinking of the big SAU logo for the rear window, but i've a feeling it might be a little too much. Might just grab a few of the web ones and just see how it looks on the car first.
  13. Madaz look above buddy, i've attached it to the post. Still don't know what's going on with my webserver today.
  14. Couldn't get a hold of the font mate Would've been nice to see what skylinesaustralia.com would look like completely in the skyline font too.
  15. Fark, my webserver just went down... i'm onto it. should be back up shortly. edit: i've just attached it into the post. splice_exa from clubpsi / nissanexa.com will be helping with the vinyl cutting... if it goes well he can handle any stickers you guys decide to get. he can also do other things like make the white, a metallic silver (which looked great on my old exa btw).
  16. Okay guys, i've got the final specs sorted out... I'm going get these printed out to see how they turn out... hopefully i've got the sizes just right (not too big not too small).
  17. Saw an old MG with a similar lexus v8 conversion... they sound horny as.
  18. Awesome engineering there. Can't wait to see videos.
  19. Wow your car just blows me away mate. Awesome a lex v8 to boot too. G'luck with the sale.
  20. LOL... nice 220rwkw+ after the nismo key mod btw, nismo knock off keys on ebay.. they look hell ugly though.
  21. Heya buddy.... sold your 180 yet? Yes the nismo factory option is about 15mm lower than stock suspension, similar to the gtr's ride height. My factory nismo/bilstein combo measures 355mm front / 355mm rear from the center of the hub to the wheel arches. According to sydneykid you can drop this further by having a suspension shop make a few more grooves for the circlips on the bilstein. You'll also want front and rear camber kits because unfortunately you get bugger all to no camber adjustment on the 34. As mentioned above check out sydneykid's group buy on the gtt kits. Cheers Howie
  22. Cheerz buddy. Right now, i'm asking splice_exa who usually does the nissanexa.com and clubpsi stickers to get us a rough price on doing the sau ones. If anyone else has contacts in the sticker area please let me know.
  23. We've had a list like this running at Nissanexa.com for a while now. It's a really handy reference if kept up to date. Ne.com Interchangable Parts List Just break it down into readable categories (suspension, turbo, exhaust, charging, accessories, etc). This sort of thing would also be good as a wikipedia article.
  24. Yep it's a repost. About couple weeks ago i think.
  25. Best to ring up Nissan and ask them if it's been discontinued. I doubt that it has, as the R34 and S15 share the same key... and our local nissan dealer had just brought one in for a customer.
