  1. For a small business, I would definately look at something like Symantec Client Security... it comes with Symantec Antivirus (SAV) Corporate and the SAV firewall. It's very lightweight compared to the norton equivalent for workstations. And you can run it through a managed server if desired.
  2. If they came with nismo bilstein option they're you're in luck. Quote from sydneykid Otherwise keep a look out for nismo bilstein's second hand.
  3. nah sasupra just ran out of bandwidth.
  4. Up on valhalla and rexnet too. http://www.valhalla.net.au/forum/viewtopic.php?p=19326#19326 http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index.php?showtopic=56344 Soon half of Adelaide's car clubs will be looking for this crim.
  5. Posted this on nissanexa.com too. http://forum.nissanexa.com/showthread.php?...1587#post401587
  6. Another one.. this sat. Street markets grand opening. Also, high-rise golf driving range was officially opened today in the cbd.
  7. ooo.. curious as to what it is Stan. As you know mine's dead stocker.. well apart from the k&n filter, and the split/front pipe i'm about to install this weekend.
  8. I gave it a crack on the stockie pipe yesterday just seeing if i could undo the bolts. Thought i'd see how hard it was before i bought my split front pipe from batmbl also. No dramas with my dad's tools. The 6 bolts on the turbo required heaps of wd-40, me to buy a 13mm socket (didn't want to chance it on my worn ones), and another big spanner as leverage and it cracked open without any problems at all. There is one bolt (bottom right, looking from the bonnet side) which i didn't have a chance to have a go at, guess i'll wait till it's up on engine stands before attempting that one, but shouldn't present a problem. So good set of tools -- no furries. Plus you get satisfaction of having done -it-yourself.
  9. Royal Adelaide Show starts that weekend i believe. Might be worth checking out... having a few shots in the side stalls, etc etc. http://www.adelaideshowground.com.au/show/index.htm?
  10. Nice pick up mate. Looks quite nice, from the looks of it ... a series 1 R34 98 model? stockie gtt wing looks pretty good too, wish mine had come with that instead of the altia/nismo one. The little dent will come out nicely in the hands of a panelbeater.
  11. Thanks Michael... guess you can add me to the list of paid members.
  12. Guess i'll be the baseline... 142.1rwkw .... 11/1998 R34 - stock as a rock. Haven't run it on the track yet, they cancelled street meets at adelaide international raceway.
  13. Hiya fellas, just after some eye brow headlight covers. Like the ones pictured here. Thought i'd check here before going retail. Thanks! Howie
  14. Yeah must be gut wrenching mate.. sorry to hear. Did you have an immobiliser installed?
  15. I second george @ adelaide pro sound. My alarm was a massive install... george, the team at aps made sure that everything was in working order, they spent the entire weekend on it and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Even got some interstate support in the form of chris rodger's the r34 specialist to finish off the remote start... I've only got great words about george... tell them andy (that's me) sent you
  16. I think you'll find scratch-x is not a filler at all. It is an abrasive... on Meguires own cut rating (from 1-10) it rates about an 8. The only reason I know this is because I talked to the distributor for Meguires in SA about their products when i went to do my windows (see general maintenance thread). Here's a bit more information about scratch-x. http://www.guidetodetailing.com/js-article...ighlight=000000
  17. From what i've gathered, Scratch X is a medium to high diminishing abrasive, it's not meant to last long. It's just a polish to remove scratches and swirls nothing more.
  18. No worries mate, glad i could help. At least with the auto out, you'll probably have more room to accommodate the gearbox you eventually want to put in there. As for traction issues, being a fwd you'll have a tonne of torque steer which may or may not be fun depending on what kind of driver you are. An lsd box will help getting that power to the ground. You should also be able to run 205's without dramas with a suitable set of alloys.
  19. Depending on the rest of your setup, i.e. if you have a 12" sub and 6" splits at the front, you may want to look at getting some 6" two way's for rear fill just to add a little bit of midbass. That's the route i'd be going for a simple audio setup.
  20. Might also sound a bit obvious, but try cleaning your airflow meter. I had this problem when a bit of foam got into the afm and it failed to go over 60km with ease.
  21. You'll also find that specs different from one R34 GTT to another depending on month and year of make.
  22. Just did a quick search on adelaidejap.com.au MAZDA/FORD to front cuts -Mazda BP turbo ex GTX Familia 3 to choose from (no gearbox) $1850 -Mazda B6 Turbo no gearbox $1850 -FE3 2 litre DOHC FWD $1850 -323/Laser GTX BP Turbo W/O box & intercooler $1850
  23. I reckon it should just stay in general maintenance.. mainly because the occasional polishing thread doesn't screw up the forum, so there's no real point changing it. but on the flipside... i do think it might be easier to search.
  24. I think you're fortunate that the Capri shares it's mechanics with the Mazda 323. So it'll probably be worth investigating these engines : * 1989-1991 - 1.8 L (1840 cc) BP, FI, 16-valve DOHC, 125 hp (96 kW)/118 ft·lbf (160 N·m) * 1989-1991 - 1.8 L (1840 cc) BPT, FI, 16-valve DOHC, turbo, 163 hp (120 kW)/159 ft·lbf (216 N·m) * 1992-1993 - 1.8 L (1840 cc) BPD, FI, 16-valve DOHC, turbo, 210 hp (156 kW)/173 ft·lbf (235 N·m). Powered the Familia GT-R * 1990-1993 - 1.3 L (1324 cc) B3, 1 barrel, 75 hp (55 kW)/76 ft·lbf (104 N·m) * 1990-1993 - 1.7 L (1720 cc) PN, Diesel, 8-valve, 57 hp (42 kW)/79 ft·lbf (107 N·m)
  25. It probably lives on a honda integra now
