  1. Oh one other thing i forgot to ask Shuan.. if he's open weekends. Anyone know off the top of their heads?
  2. Okay, even if Tilbrook is about the same price as Boostworks i'd still take it to boostworks. I've had some major work done on my previous ride at Tilly's ... i won't say anymore and leave it as that. : Thanks for all your input guys, much appreciated. Edited: spelling.
  3. Thanks guys that's pretty good. Just spoken to shaun from Boostworx. Mentioned that I heard about him from varous car clubs. And he was genuinely helpful. He's given me the following quote for a major service $170 water pump $95 timing belt $240 labour $77 service / safety $65 oil $140 redline diff + tranny service $55 coolant $145 dyno tune $140 platinum plugs But would do it for about $1000. What do you reckon?
  4. No worries ... that's one count for boostworks. cheers mate.
  5. Hi all, I'm about to purchase a R34 GTt, which has done about 114,000kms or thereabouts. I'm unsure about the service history, so i thought it'd be safe just to give it a major service. So where do you guys recommend? I've heard boostworks is alright.. can anyone confirm/deny this? Also second part of my question... for the major service i've listed things I wanted changed * Timing belt * Water pump * All fluids * Plugs Anything else that I might be missing? Brakes I know have been done recently. Can you give me an estimate of what that might cost? Thank you all very much, Thanks
  6. check pm mate.
  7. Mate that's a steal at that price... If i was in vic i'd seriously consider it.
  8. shiet! thought i read that wrong initially. that's just insane hehe. Bet it's fun though. seems like you guys are getting pretty good figures. my ca18de - 10.5L/100km my rb20det - 10.5-11L/100km hopefully my next car with an rb25det should be within that range.
  9. Thanks for the reply nath, anyone else?
  10. Hiya guys, Hoping to be an R34 owner soon. Was wondering if anyone has had any positive or negative dealings with Aussie Car Compliance? Thanks all in advance, Howie
  11. Thanks for the replies guys. Really looking for something less than 10 years old.... got anything around that vintage?
  12. What's your location?
  13. Hiya guys, Just want to see if anyone had a neat reliable car for under 20k in Adelaide? Skyline or otherwise. Cheers Howie
  14. This lightly tuned EXA is a real head turner. Meticiously looked after and serviced regularly on nothing but synthetic oil. KN13 1989 Nissan EXA (now Sportbak). - Sportbak imported from a Import KN13 Pulsar NX (Exa) SE Sportbak. Fitted by Pulsar Parts SA. - CA18DE Twincam 16-valve Engine producing about 110kw flywheel on the dyno. Headwork and Dyno-tuning by Chris Milton engineering. - Brakes from N14 Pulsar front and N13 S3 Rear, with N13 S3 Master Cylinders. - Breathes via K&N Air Filter through to Hurricane 4-1 Extractors, then 2 1/4" exhaust through to 2 1/4" Trust N1 NA muffler. Exhaust work by Exhaust Techniques and Profix. - JVC El Kameleon headunit (self hiding unit) w/ 12cd stack, with in-built subwoofer pre-amp, running to a Kicker 354 Amp, Rockford Fosgate 12" Punch, and 6" Pioneer Split speaker system. - 16" ROH Astrons, Toyo tread (70% left).\ - 2 3/4" lowered springs rear, 2 1/4" lowered sprints front, bushes replaced, matching Pedder's Sports shock absorbers, Front strut brace. This is your chance to get one of the very few Sportbak EXA's in Australia (there are about a dozen Sportbaks in circulation around the country). The original colour matched boot is available on request. Any q's .. just call me 0421033013 or email me [email protected] Was asking $7999 but make an offer.. i'd like to see it go to a good home first of all. This car is immaculate, any inspection welcome.
  15. Such a sad loss for the community, on behalf of the members at nissanexa.com we would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of the victims. RIP....
  16. hows this for inconsistencies... my r32 was defected (too loud, bald tyres, insecure battery clamp.. previous owner to thank). When i got it to regency, they said two of my four stove lights aren't working when you switch the headlights on. However if you're cruising with all four stove lights on the cops will defect you. So who's correct? Cops for saying four lights, or regency for saying two lights! motherf**kers. Also... defected for sticker because it was in the wiper sweep of the car (except.. here's the thing.. it wasn't!.. so they got me just for having a sticker). Another.. aftermarket exhaust too loud? It had a silencer in it... the original exhaust which was put on to get it through regency was actually louder than the aftermarket exhaust (i think the cops just didn't like the previous owner).
  17. Were you travelling down south road yesterday (18th Dec Thursday) at around 4pm? If so I think i pulled up next to ya in n13 sportbak. If it was you .. man it sounds horney too.
  18. crazy pics p1e!
  19. neat pics mate.. there's a few cars i didn't get in there glad you took them. checked out my pics of SCS in this forum yet?
  20. Hiya all, been a while since I sold my R32 but i'm still here with you guys in spirit =) Lotsa pics from today's Small Car Sunday show and shine. Managed to get a couple of Cheeky and SIR-033 nice work guys! http://www.nissanexa.com/temp/SCS_Adelaide_301103 Cheers, Howie Nissan EXA Club.
  21. I will consider any serious offers. Only lightly modified, and has never run more than standard boost. This White 1993 R32 Skyline GTS (with RB20DET conversion) is a beautiful example. Specs: - Thorougly serviced, 132000kms. - RB20DET, 6cyl Turbo 24valve 2.0L - 5 Speed Manual Transmission - Heavy Duty Clutch Kit - GEAI Climb Struts - Professionally Resprayed - Bomex bodykit (front spoiler, side skirts) - Fully Automatic Greddy Turbo Timer - Hurricane Pod Filter - Full exhaust system - 16" Sebring 2 Piece Racing Rims - 4 x Brand New Low Profile Tyres (less than one month old) - R33 Brakes and Calipers - Niken Pedals and Sports Gearknob - Electric mirrors - Power windows - Power steering It is a excellent looking and very reliable car. Serviced every 4000kms and using only synthetic motor oil. Has potential for more modifications. Any mechanical inspection welcomed. I personally feel that this is one of the best R32's in Adelaide and the bodykit makes it a real stand-out. Reason i'm thinking of selling it is to secure a deposit for a house. Any serious offer considered. If you're interested call me on 0421 033 013 or email me at [email protected]. CLICK TO SEE MORE SKYLINE PHOTOS
  22. hahha.. thanks for the kind comments. By the way, i like your supra animation... looks sweet!! I'm in Mansfield Park, near Westfield Arndale. Whereabouts r you?
  23. Heya Heavyside.. nice mod man! hehe. My next step was to lower my skyline more but after dumping my previous car 2 3/4" it used to bottom out all the time and caused damage to my bump stop, and bend my struts. So that's why I decided to get decent shocks but not to lower the skyline. It feels awesome over rough surfaces... I wouldn't have it any other way. But I guess the next owner can lower it if he wants.. you'd only need springs then. Also.. you don't need 18k man =) I've dropped it to 17k as I realise that R33's can be bought for around 20k (condition though i'm not sure). Well hope to sell it quite soon, i'm putting it in Thursday's post. Take care guys. Howie
