  1. I reckon they're swapped. Sometimes owners who swap them don't bother wiring them up to the fog switch but instead the reverse light or the tail lights, that's a dead give away it's been swapped.
  2. Only on GTR's Tharaka ... I read it was because of laws in northern europe around having rear fog lights.
  3. Some more goodies from nismo
  4. Hey David, they're East Bear copies like mine. You can tell from the white center and the grooves in the red bit. The nismo led's when switched off is indistinguishable from the stock lights, but when the light up they have dual led rings. I'll try to post a pic later.
  5. Here's mine East Bear copies.
  6. Mac's going strong in 'that' market? It was the Ipod that saved Apple from financial ruin... anyone that uses a Mac should be slapped hard. Even guys I know in the desktop publishing world can't stand Mac's. IBM weren't pulled because they were no good.. if you were old enough to remember the first PC's were IBM's. IBM was a giant in the computer world, they were the Microsoft of the day.. that is umm until Microsoft. IBM left the personal computer market because it was flooded and became a commodity. When I first started selling computers, we would sell IBM clones for $4000aud and that was around the 486DX66 speed. Now you'd get something like a Intel Quad Core 2.33ghz with about 8gb of ram, 24" monitor for around $2500. There simply is no money in selling hardware - seriously you'd have to be an absolute gimp to still be in that market. IBM realised this, so will Sony.
  7. Just a word of advice. If you get this board, get the latest firmware (Dec 2008) for it. Our latest builds of the P5Q Pro at work have been cactus.
  8. LOL you'll be fighting all of us for a spot next to it! Seriously would be good to get cars from every generation of skylines lined up.. 31/32/33/34/35.
  9. As Inline 6 said.. It would be really refreshing if a member of SAPOL could come onto the forums and share their side of the story. And as Cronic mentioned, members of victorian and nsw police have come online and embraced the community also. Recently we saw a thread started by a victorian member of police asking if we could help him identify a european sportscar doing crazy speeds on the freeway. I see it being a mutually beneficial exercise.
  10. I personally think SAU is one of the more mature clubs, if we could get some feedback from the police on what modifications they permit (providing there is some consistency around this) i'd be more than happy to oblige. I've got no quarms with our local police, they've saved me in situations far more serious than this, and gotten to know a few personally... i'd really appreciate an opportunity to work closer with them also. It may also be worthwhile contacting our Minister for Transport Pat Conlon for his input.
  11. Last time I got a crack on my windscreen on my previous car, I just called up my insurance company and they gave me a free windscreen. I think i'm entitled to one per year. Might be worth seeing if your insurance company can do the same. Btw, they sent me to Windscreens O'Brien.
  12. Sounds like a pretty hectic schedule Pete! Awesome to hear the gb's still happening mate.
  13. ^^ yeah he said he had a nistune remap. Sounds about right, i've got a 34 neo with nistune, split/dump, stock turbo with r32 actuator set at 10psi and getting around 170rwkw. It's begging for more boost though.
  14. Far out chill dude. If you were clear in your explanation the first time round we'd have understood you.
  15. I'm not sure if that makes sense. So is it the one you're selling in the pic or is it another one? Because the one in your picture you linked is definately from an AT.
  16. Yep pretty straight forward.. although the top pipe (factory cooler piping setup) was a little hard to get right, i ended up doing a right royal mash of a job on that one lol. I did, but it might be a little hard to tell on those photos. Those allen bolts are a treat Took her for a spin today, and without doing a back to back dyno you can definately tell the box is doing it's job. I reckon it'd help with my setup, with turbo running without a heat shield. Thanks again mate.
  17. Yeah i've been playing it at Haymarket Sydney... bloody hell it rocks!!! Love the revenge meter, and focused attacks. The game plays beautifully .. i do miss parry but this more than makes up for it.
  18. ah that looks super sweet bro.
  19. Hey Ash, i reckon a radiator air guide would be an awesome thing to make next! If you guys do one i'd definately be down.
  20. Here's my install. Thanks again Ash.
  21. Got mine today ash.. thanks for organising it mate. Looks much better than I thought... top job. Will have pics up soon.
  22. That's crazy Vick... one of the best 34's i've seen. I reckon you should post it on the big R34 thread here : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...view=getnewpost
  23. That's what I thought, i've seen the camoflage graphics and tubbed guards before.
  24. Spotted Vange on fitzroy terrace this morning. i was in the corolla with the sau sticker in front of the yellow evo
