Can you guys confirm this: **Support Vehicle (1 allowed) are we still allowed to run this vehicle down the drag strip for a 1/4mile pass? Originally Abo Bob said it was allowed provided we the competitor drives it but based on the previous posts it doesn't appear like it.

Taken from another post about camshafts by URAS: Questions: -Does that mean for a rebuilt engine with lower/higher compression setting the tomei cam shafts to '0' degrees would not get the best results as that for a internally stock engine? -Can you adjust the camshafts setting without an adjustable camgear?(or do you have to purchase adjustable camgears to adjust them) -Any guys on SAU with a rebuilt lower compressioned RB25DET running aftermarket camshafts? I think one of the guys in a R32 GTST(RB25turbo) with around 180-190rwkw did a 13.6 pass. well there is only one way to find out go down to the strip and see what it can do, you can never trust dyno figures its a tool for tuning

Last time i was at WSID there was this sleeper copper orange v8 ss vx, looked totally stock from the outside then looking under the bonnet.... GT3540!!!.. he said engine has been worked with forgies 5.7L gen3 running 10-11's can't remember but he said he was kiling the diff or drive shafts all the time I GUESS HE SAW THE LIGHT! V8 + TURBO

hey Nic, What dump/front pipe you got? xforce or standard? Is your Apexi Pod exposed or enclosed in a box/heat shield? Like you said yourself numbers on dyno MEAN NOTHING.. just take it down to the drag strip where it counts, one of the guys with only 169rwkw has ran a few runs at 13.7 with 19" rims while others with around 200rwkw can't barely break the 14 second mark, so see how you go GOOD LUCK!

BUT keep in mind these are like cars out of factory in good condition.. over so many years compression drops blah blah blah.. i'll take a r32 over s14 for looks BUT S14a (series2) > r32 any day of the week. my 2cents

If you both drive those cars head down to the drag strip..,,, IF YOU BOTH can't drive.. then do some research. i put my money on the s14 though
