  1. If you gonna use it as a daily driver, i'll consider other options with smaller engines , like a 91-96 1.5-1.6 Honda Civic's for the price of $5-6k (something not so heavy on fuel) second hand/Old well EX-Taxi's wif LPG conversions can be bought for around the $4k but dunno if its like the 2nd or 3rd engine in the car! hahah good luck either way
  2. Sold Already? was just gonna ask what are they tyres specs, hahah thats ONE cheap set of GTR32 rims that just got sold, GOoD STuff!
  3. Damn Hot Wheels, DEEP DISH Gunmetal GOOD CHOICE
  4. Rick Nismo: I assume your running an aftermarket ecu and the car has been tuned correct?, Because i got my engine rebuilt, new injectors and the works and didn't tune it at all, for running in but no pinging, but it use to Sh*T itself after 5krpm this is on a gts25t btw then after i ran it in, it was raining and we went for a road tune for 10minutes (because we couldn't get traction! ahhah) anyways the car was like HEAPS faster after even 10minutes of tuning on the POwer FC, then after a proper tune the car was a totally different machine. Your not running Standard ECU are u and your car has been tuned since everything has been installed correct?
  5. Is it just me or does his car have r33 gTs25t Series 2 Headlights and Bonnet? But its got a series 1 front bar hmmmmmmm, and what GTR grill i don't even see a grill. hahahah think i'm going blind too much porn... For $16.5k with those mods i think its a decent price to pay IMO my 2 cents
  6. R32 GTR's came in the following: White Black Silver Gunmetal/Grey Wine Red (Midnight Purple is a R33 Colour) (Bayside Blue is a R34 Colour) Someone correct me if i'm wrong my 2cents
  7. With the GTR32 Rims having a bigger or smaller however you put it, On a R32 gtst with stock rims you'll notice that the rims actually sit inside and under the guards, whereas for GTR32 rims the offsets are like +30 (or something from memory) so ALL for rims will sit further out from the hub and if you car is lowered with no camber your wheels will hit the arch/guards when you go over a bump or turn hard into a corner. BUT if you have standard shocks and stock ride height you won't have the Guard hitting problem. BUT keep in mind its illegal to have your wheels sitting outside your guards, like if you stand next the side of the car where front wheel is and look straight down if you see the tyres sitting out pass the guards it illegal (or defectable). This is my understand and STUPID/wrong offsets because i've had 2 sets of rims which didn't fit on my car PERFECTLY. BUT someone with a R32Gtst with GTR32 rims can clarify this. R32gtst rims are 16 x 6.5" (you can fit 225/50/16 or 205/55/16) R32GTR rims are 16 x 8" (you can fit up to 235/XX/16 maybe even a 245 dunno but standard i think is 225/50/16 compared to the 205/55/16 on gts rims) i hope that helps. my 2 cents
  8. For 16 x 6.5 size rims (the standard Skyline/Fto's etc) best with 205/55/16 (which i have on my stockies) fits perfectly straight sidewall. it can also fit 225/50/16 BUT it tyre looks like its squashed in if you know what i mean, (they were the tyres that came with the car). Car seems to handle better overall with the 205's compared to the 225's but thats my opinion might be different for others. my 2c
  9. My Friend has a Jap-Spec Nissan S15 Black (Import) with fmic, exhaust, pod, avc-r, tein suspension, sunroof and veilside bodykit 18" dtm mags, low kms his in the process of selling his car to buy a IS200 BUT i think he wants a manual, if your interested give me a PM
  10. i thought REV210 drove a GTs25t? pulling 13.4 and stock wif stock turbo and no fmic .. must of been a while hehe.
  11. GTR! i've got a R33 Gts25t Series 2 but after running my modified gts against a friends DEAD STOCK GTR i was so embrassed that i only managed to match his performance (for a straight line) and i'm running 1.3bar of boost (18.85psi!) go the GTR! you'll never regret it!
  12. i'm using Castrol Dextron III Auto Transmission Fluid in my R33 gts25t for the power steering. hope that helps. its a Red bottle.
  13. Gf says why do you drive a skyline for... SELL IT! you spent more money on the car then me, here is the plan. SELL THE SKYLINE. BUY: 1 x NEW JAZZ 1 x OLD BuG Eye CELICA only in RED (girls like this car dunno why) stupid camry engine. geez with the money you put on car why not she says also they have to be AUTO! ... me answer: Why the hell would i buy 2 cars that have a combined power (108kw + 69kw approx) HEAPS less then my current car. geez.. YEAH RIGHT!
  14. iS THIS 5kw GAIN at the wheels on a N/a!?, it will cost a bit more then for a turbo car. (just noticed on your info you got r33 s1 n/a).
  15. Apexi ECV (Exhaust Control Value) no cheap tho around $200-$300 plus install. You can adjust the volume of airflow through your exhaust in cabin (its like a butterfly) do a search on it, (the are fitting just before the CAT) but like i said not cheap. these silencer baffle plates that your referring to will REDUCE the sound of your exhaust & ALSO performance. if you intend to put on of those silence baffle plates on (don't rev/push your car because it isn't good for your car), you may as well get a STOCK exhaust system. OR if you intend to use your car daily driver then get one of those silence baffle plates then TAKE it off when you goto track or whatever (i had one of these on my car NOT easy to TAKE off), it came with my apexi n1 exhaust and alot of aussie brand mufflers usually include them these days but are adjustable. UP TO YOU MY FRIEND>
  16. Yeah my friend had a similar problem with his DCR2, but his clutch has done 100,000+! so its due for replacement, anyways he couldn't put it into gear, then we got it checked, the clutch fluid was low, they topped it up, no problem since and his still driving dunno how the hell the clutch is lasting so long for him, he drives CRAZY!
  17. From memory i think HOLDEN & BMW share the same PCD offset being 5x120 PCD, whereas Skyline's use 5x114.3PCD So don't go buying anything off ebay or interstate, try them on the car first. Good luck.
  18. Are these the white set on the silver 350z at southend tennis by any chance? (i'm just guessing because of your avatar being a 350z) =) What are the type & size of tyres and % of tread remaining may i ask?
  19. I've recently picked up a second hand Greddy Electrical Warning Temp guage and its CAME to be bare, wireless?! Was wondering is it still possible to install the guage without the wiring harness? (as in connect the electrical wires/sensors etc directly to the guage without the harness?) i've currentlly got an electrical temp guage on my car using a greddy sandwich plate as a sensor. OR does anyone have a spare or broken greddy guage lying around not needing the wiring harness?..
  20. my experience, My car 97 gts25t HAD approx 200rwkw wif Fmic/pod/exhaust t3/t4 turbo ecu 1bar boost (not holding boost drops to 12psi approaching red) mates car 98 wrx vf22/28 i think 1bar boost (holding well no drop in boost all the way to redline, exhaust/pod ecu BUT no FMIC BUT has water spray). ANYWAYZ. both off the lights a right turn into a mainroad waiting for each other then flooring it in Second, both having one passenger, head to head up to END of THIRD for me which is 150km/h and still HEAD TO HEAD then we called it quits.... BUT iF off the spot i think i would lose due to traction problem and him having 4wd. i personally think WRX a quicker.. (THEY CERTAINLY FEEL ALOT QUICKER ALOT MORE G-FORCE!~, BUT when you line them up very close)
  21. 17 x 8" wide rims are only good for 235 (good sidewall) 255 (i don't think you can fit on a 8" wide rim you need at least 9" to fit perfectly BUT i'm sure you can FORCE it on BUT the results will be worse using a 255 on a 8" compared to a 235 on a 8" ) 265 don't even bother too big for the rims someone else that has more knowledge might be able to spread some light my 2cents.
  22. U have PM my friend... Consider the Greddy Pillar MOunt sold IF is 60mm
  23. My Choice GTR33 (Anything from $33k --> $55k) THEN SUPRA TT (My friend just picked up a 96 Model Black TT Supra wif FMIC and exhaust compiled 98 with 80k kms for $30k after bargaining) Nice car, good power BUT not practical what so ever, back seats useless Boot is useless.. THEN R34 GTT ( i don't really like this car.. too over priced) thats my 2c.. GOod Luck!
