Hi everyone I'm trying to find a aac valve for my rb20det. It's a motor from a 200zr. It's a red top with a top mount inter cooler with a nics inlet manifold. I can't find anything anywhere. I was hoping to buy new! If anyone can help me out that would be great. Cheers in advance

Also forgot to mention not that I think it will make much difference but I think this was a red top motor because it had a top mount intercooler and it has a nics inlet manifold

No it's not. Just past the last mark which is 30 deg. That's what made me think the wire loop isn't reading correctly. Can you explain in a bit more detail what you do with introducing a plug lead? Thanks for your help so far

Hey everyone, I'm after some help. Im trying to check the timing on my rb20det. Am I right in saying that number 1 cylinder is the first cylinder after the inlet and exhaust cams. I hooked my timing light up to the black loop wire at the back of the motor and my harmonic balancer degree was about 35 degree. I want to hook it up to number one plu to check that the other reading could have been possibly doubled. Also I have a autronic Eccu and a auto trans. What should the timing be set up to? Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance

I have a rb20 out of a 200zr which used to have the top mount inter cooler. It still has the original turbo! Was wondering if anybody can help me out as to what type it is? I'm currently on the look out for a bigger turbo. My car has a 700x600x75 inter cooler, rb26 injectors, autronic sm4 computer. Fully manulised Jacob four speed trans. My issue is I'm struggling for kw. I only have 145kw at the wheels. Can anybody suggest anything to help me out? I have heard of putting spitfire coil packs and removing the inlet butterflies between the plenum and the head? Apparently they are not needed!!!!!!!

Thanks very much for your help! What is the variable length inlet runner that changes length via the butterfly in the inlet???? Is this an easy thing to check to see if it is jamming?? Is it easy to fix or replace? Where abouts is this placed to on the engine??

Hi guys I'm new to this forum stuff but thought it would be a great idea to join to try and answer some of my questions I have. I have a lj torana with a Nissan rb20det in it. Motor is from a 200zr z31 fair lady. Trans is a 4 speed jatco box from a r32 that is fully manulised with work done to the standard converter and shift kitted. Diff is a ford nine inch with 3.55 gears. Mods to the engine so far is 700x300x75 front mount inter cooler, rb26 injectors, autronic sm4 computer. As you can imagine I'm struggling for power at the wheels(145kw) at the moment. First question is What is the turbo on my motor, it is still standard? I want a bigger turbo but am struggling for room so I want a turbo that has the same outside dimensions but bigger internals. Is the possible, or will I have to make an adaptor to mount of my exhaust manifold. Second question is what ratio diff do z31 200zr fair lady's come out with? Is it 4.3??? I want to change my diff ratio to something lower and was thinking 4.11 or 4.3. This is a street driven car with a little highway driving! Hope someone can help, I'm desperate for more power !!!!
