  1. Clean white r33 with GTR wing and nismo sticker on rode rd around 4.30pm
  2. +1 desperately needs a wash beforehand
  3. Cool man, thanks. Will see you there
  4. I'll be there, first SAU event Skyline - Check RB powered - Check Nissan - Check Good to meet a few forum guys, see you all there, either at the Cabbo BPs or at Samford
  5. I've only been driving the Skyline a couple of times a week at the moment. Fairly stock model but the front is way too low, have been left alone so far, only been pulled up for non defect reasons so far. Probably should stop modding the daily too much. I've heard of a Golf R getting defected for coilovers and an attempted defect for a stock AMG zorst, mind you AMG exhaust note is rather tasty stock.
  6. I have noticed a lot less wankers trying to race you because you have a road scraping import. Still happens though, when bogans buy WRXs and beaten up HSVs. I have very little interest in wasting my precious expensive fuel on them. I have also noticed a lot of import drivers being more friendly to other import drivers. I have always been let in when changing lanes etc by other imports when driving the Skyline, I also let a slammed s15 in the other day and he made a point of putting his window down to give me a thumbs up. I think in general there are a lot more import drivers that save it for the track, but the bogans will still be bogans and always want a go at the lights.
  7. Hey guys, Finally at the final stages of getting my mates donor Starlet GT out of my garage, so I'm finally going to be able to tackle the manual conversion to my S1.5 33 GTST. I have a manual conversion kit but still only have the stock auto ECU and cluster. The guys that I'm doing the conversion with are fairly good at doing this level of work but have never done a skyline manual conversion. Any issues that you guys know of that I'm likely to run in to? Is the auto ECU gonna be a little bitch to work with? (I know it has to be tricked in to not requiring it to be in P to start)
  8. Hey guys. I've had a decent go of the search function but can't seem to find a guide on R33 manual conversions. Anyone one found one on SAU here or anyone know of a guide at all?
  9. After leaving it for a few weeks to fix a few things on my daily and helping a mate with his Starlet, it is fixed. It was a stupid fuse, not even blown fuse, just faulty.......somehow. Motor is running a lot smoother than before too, was probably causing issues for a while.
  10. Ok, no power getting to fuel pump, pump works on battery alone but no power to wires leading to pump
  11. Thanks for replies and pm's Have pulled off the line in to fuel rail after the filter, no fuel coming through. Possibly regulator or fuel pump?
  12. Hey guys, any help here would be massively appreciated. My R33 is playing scumbag skyline. It fires up fine in the morning when cold but if I need to stop and turn the car off, even for a very short time (e.g. getting fuel) it will kick over and die after a few seconds, then it wont even kick over till the engine cools all the way down again. The car has always run fairly rich and we were suspicious of the ECU being shagged. So far we are thinking one of three parts, ECU, crank angle sensor or the coil packs. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
  13. Issue has more symptoms, starting new thread.
  14. Hey man, lookin for an ECU, mine has quite likely shat it self
  15. Just want my car to start :(

  16. Hey, I'm getting the same issue with mine, only problem is that it was running fine in the morning on the way to work, 10 hours later, sounds like it wants to start but never actually fires up. My car is now on the street near work . Looks like I'll be trying a few of the things listed here, I just hope it aint my ECU, Spark plugs only have like maybe 10,000 KM max and they are decent ones too. I'll start with trying to jump it tho, maybe that I'm getting power but not quite enough to kick it over.
  17. Latest Queens of the Stone Age album, it's epic
  18. Nice ride man, would love to hear that thing roar.
  19. Requested pics Have painted the wheels black and removed the centre cap to make them look less like 90's poo, they are wedsports which is good but a severely outdated style. Gearbox arrived today, still unsure weather to do it myself or pay east coast $1000 to do it for me
  20. Hey people. I have been a member for a while but haven't had a lot of time to actually post. Now I'm back in a call centre job, I'll be scouring forums for entertainment. Also will be a here a lot more as I'm about to finally start working on my S1.5 R33 GTSt. First serious thing I'm doing is my 5 speed conversion, parts should be in bris with me next week . So I'll definately be searching hard for any tips I can find.
  21. Thanks for the welcome As for the 206, I love it and hate it, so I agree with all comments thus far. Nice to drive, most of the time it is a piece of shit tho
  22. Hi there all, I am about to be the proud owner of an R33 GTST. This is my first Skyline, it has taken me a while to get in to one as I have a bit of a euro fetish fuelled by loving rally cars. My previous ride was (and still is till I pick up the skyline) a Peugeot 206 GTi, I loved the car, but soon after I got it, I started to yearn for Skylines. My dream is an R32 GTR, but for now, while the girlfriend only has an auto licence, we will be jumping in a near mint condition auto R33 GTST. Only very light mods, 5ziggen exhaust, King springs.
