  1. hmmmmmmmm Point taken And its a good point lol Still slow though... DR30 with a big boost leak running hellishly rich felt faster apparently
  2. Try Shannons Yeah, get a GTSt, that GTS looked ghey anyway, looked like an S14 that was featured in Hot 4's in 1999
  3. No, but I'm planning on finding a nice straight white one Oooooh, I'm sending you a PM, just noticed you're from newcastle
  4. Sams IS the Adelaide Paul Newman, its standard apart from a turbo that is apparently a "triple hybrid", filter and exhaust. Its bloody clean though, and it sounds sweet, but its slow. Sam reckoned that my car was noticably faster when he went in it... which is when it had a huge boost leak. And now that mine doesnt have a leak, its much quicker How many are there in Australia now? When Ivan was advertising his he said there was only three... his, Pauls (now Sams) and another one that was in either Sydney or Melbourne I still doubt that the Newmans had 200hp standard, or even much more than 145. Shit, my Charade GTti must have been a monster... stock except for the exhaust it ran a 16.7 (granny launched... just drove it normally (ie sloooowly) off the line) but at 85mph lol BTW Sam lives in the house behind mine
  5. But theyre sooooooo slow
  6. Yeah, but people keep throwing up 200hp figures for the Paul Newman which is bs... if that has 200hp my fj20 must have 300hp lol
  7. No 'D' in FJ20ET. It predates the use of the D. They sound a lot better than SR's aswell The other good thing about the DR is that all the front panels inc guards are interchangable with Aussie MR30's, which are cheap enough to buy a whole car now just to get the spare panels
  8. Ghostrider I have seen Sams car getting sideways controllably with the previous owner, it definitely wasn't open wheeling then
  9. And the Paul Newman definitely doesnt have the 200hp some people have been quoting, its much nearer the 145 of the standard L20ET
  10. Yeah Sam, if it spins only one, or spins one one way and the other one the other way, its an open wheeler. Mine spins both the same way, and I've also gone to the trouble of checking that it works properly in real world conditions :lol I thought HR's had a LSD as standard though.... so maybe yours is just shagged Actually... having seen Paul driving it before, I know it had a working LSD a year and a bit ago
  11. On G200 Charade boxes you can just tap the top of the stick with a shifter and it slips down through the knuckle, wouldnt think that would work on the Nissan boxes though
  12. Has anyone had the bushes on the block to strut tower bar thingy replaced?
  13. Its a R31, but there has never been a SXE, someone's been playing funny-buggers with your badges
  14. Were there any DR30's on show? Jash, make that any non-Evo with a Evo kit
  15. Ooh, and the bushes on the strut tower to engine brace. Mine are fsucked
  16. You could change the sump to an RB25 one and run a RB25 box
  17. But in any case, I would be better off changing to R33 non turbo discs and R32 callipers like Crimmo's car?
  18. Well the Z31 brakes are the same as R31 Import and R31 GTS1/2, so I figure the struts might be the same?
  19. Does that mean the struts are the same as Jap R31's?
  20. They couldnt get the brake rotors for my car in the end Crimmo, if its ok I'd love to come and have a look at how your suspension and brakes are set up, cos I'm going to have to do something similar very soon as my rotors have been skimmed to undersize so that its still driveable until I change to a rotor thats more readily available I just live around the corner btw Cheers Adam
  21. Pretty much standard I think Yeah, blocked it off that night, but then there was another leak, only found that on Friday night... ran really well but on Saturday night I revved it a bit much and popped one of the exhaust gaskets... huge exhaust leak.... getting that fixed with the brakes atm
  22. Hi I've got a DR30 RSX coupe Pretty much standard apart from HKS pod and exhaust, KYB Super Special dampers, 15*6.5 Watanabes My rotors are completely chewed out, I've been quoted $550+ to replace them and the pads (sent it down for machining, but theres too much runout )
