  1. You can't have suspension in the car that is adjustable to below 100mm
  2. I say go with an RB30E + T, it would be far more driveable in everyday driving, I think it would probably be better in the hills with extra torque compared to a bit of extra breathing ability and I'd have to think it would be far cheaper and just as reliable as an RB25 at the power levels you're after
  3. My wheels are the right offset, its just that they were for a Sprinter and they have pissy brakes and unlike the Watanabes and the Enkeis the Longchamps don't have a cutout in the inner side of the spokes to clear decent brakes
  4. I've already bought the spacers, and boltons are prohibitively expensive arent they?
  5. I need to run 6mm spacers on the front to fit my Longchamps on the DR30 (didn't clear the callipers) but I don't think the standard studs will be long enough Do the DR's run different studs to other Nissans? What length should I be looking for?
  6. As I said before... I run 16*7/8 Enkeis on my DR and they fit fine with a +32 offset Blind Elk, standard offset of +25 isn't for an eight inch rim though is it Stagefumer, +33 means they will stick out less than a lower offset
  7. Should fit fine, I run 16*7 front and 16*8 rear on the DR with a +32 offset. Just check they have spokes that are ground out a bit so that they clear the callipers
  8. Same as MR30 hatch pads.... awesome Oh, and I went to fit my 15*7 +11 Longchamps today.... Back was fine, front missed the strut by a mile but doesnt clear the callipers
  9. I can measure my damaged arm next time I'm at my old mans but I've been driving the car for a day now... all done
  10. Guards arent different are they? I put a MR front on my RSX and the guards worked fine with it
  11. Yeah... but its going now... Are rear brake pads available for the DR brakes? Mine are almost shagged. Alternator is on the way out aswell I think
  12. We've had long rows of louvres like that stamped into some TR3 bonnets, seemed to reduce underbonnet temps quite nicely
  13. Bought a DR30 arm from Jaustech, $220!!!!!!! But it seems to be straight and I know it will fit
  14. I was thinking that maybe one calliper would be different to allow them to both mount on the same arms, if you could have a look Ghostrider it would be much appreciated. Thanks Adrian aswell.
  15. Engine is running now, so I just need to get the back fixed. Took it to a suspension / alignment dude yeasterday and he said that the arm probably needs to be replaced. From what Bensdr30 said, the MR discs are smaller than the DR ones... but if the DR disc will bolt ono a MR hatch rear then that should be fine? I'll try Jaustech first for some DR arms I think
  16. Started it yesterday, oil pressure came straight up, started nicely... Awesome
  17. Mine is an RSX with the full inserts...
  18. Strange.... On the SWR website main bearings are $70 a set, when I tried Repco they said $70 a set... but on my invoice that came with the bearings from SWR it was $137. Odd...
  19. Whose is that? Looks like it was registered in mid-late '03 oh, and my interior is black with full red inserts, I forgot about the stripey seats
  20. Mine has the red and black interior
  21. Parts arrived yesterday morning. It may all get put on hold for a bit because my landlord died recently and the family have decided to sell the property so I have to move this week, $$$ , and I'll still need to get the rear end straightened after the engine is running so theres not a lot of point in having it running atm Luckily my old man is letting me put the labour for the engine on his tab at the garage I still would have liked that NA fj with the carbs, it sounded mad, but I can't see myself being able to afford it now But if anyone is after a NA FJ20 with a 5 speed and twin big Solex's (I think the guy said they were 50's, not 100% sure though), Luke has one for sale, $2500, 0411 871 364. It sounded SERIOUSLY awesome when I heard it running
  22. OHR30T I'm not chasing parts, I've already ordered everything and it will be arriving on monday. I'm just looking for a sump to replace mine at some point. slide247 as I said before, I didnt replace the pump, mine ended up being fine. Gears were really good and the housing has only the very very very slightest scoring so its going back in. Went and looked at all the bits after they had been washed yesterday, the aluminium bits like the housing and the water pump look seriously sexy when theyre shiny
  23. Didnt buy the atmo in the end, the guy that was buying my Watanabes didnt come up with the money so I think I've forfeited the deposit on the engine Havent really been chasing a sump, was after a pump before
  24. Oh, does anyone have a sump in decent condition, apparently mine is a bit thin in spots, theyre just worried that another bump from a rock or something may punch through it
  25. Weird... I thought I'd get billed $800+ (assumed the listing of $70 for main bearings and $37 for rod ends was each, plus the gasket set and tensioners) But my visa was only billed $548.95 today, it doesnt come up with who its billed to, but I assume its SWR. Does $70 and $37 each for the bearings sound right, or $70 and $37 for the full sets?
