  2. wouldnt have a pic would you . want to upgrade my r31 pump , hopefully nissan used a common mounting flange pattern
  3. big drug bust here in brisbane yesterday saw on news nice blue gtr ( maybe r33 ) being consficated by police along with about $ 8 millions of other property mmm watch for police auctions
  4. yep i agree with you . i adapted a set of rb30 extractors by getting new flange plate made and welded it on and one of the pipes had to be lengthened . i got a workshop but if you havent , far better to go the coby route . they sound great with extractors and decent exhaust , sort of sound a turbo certainly cant make cos theyre muffled by the turbo (sorry turbo guys)
  5. 226 kmh ( 140.274 mph )at Lake Gairdner speed trials 2003 , in my 1987 station wagon with worked rb30 ( non turbo ). that was the average speed over 1 mile after winding up for 3 miles . was 5th gear at approx 5800 rpm . now have done rb25de head conversion and will take to Lake gairdner again next year .
  6. Got The Red Wagon 3 Years Ago Had 180000k Now 275000k So 3 Yrs Done 95000 K Plus 23 Passes At Willowbank Dragstrip 10 Flat Out Runs At Lake Gairdner Salt Lake And Its My Only Registered Car And Its My Business Car
  7. yep i,m interested , put me down as a reserve . seems its all r32s and r33s ive got an r31 with rb30de ( rb30 with a rb25de conversion done )
  8. hi there 4door sleeper call yourself an old fart , i,m an older fart , me i,m 53 and getting faster . check my profile i,ve got a 2 piece tailshaft now and want to get a single piece one . as mentioned by jay93r33 , it would be much easier to balance a single piece item , and yep less parts the better
  9. maybe you could try Settlers car yard . they are at Kedron . i believe they are importers www.settlerscarco.com.au
  10. got a question . whats pros and cons of single piece tail shaft and 2 piece tailshaft with centre bearings ? . whats best for high performance ? any ideas ?
  11. From the album: dondesoto's Gallery

this the engine i was timed at doing 140 mph (224 kmh )
  12. i used the stock RB25DE engine harness and puter . the sparky then had to mate up the harness under the dash to it . it,s the cheapest solution until i can get ( afford ) an aftermarket puter . have fitted a malpassi fuel pressure regulator in and set it at 40 psi . seems to be getting enough fuel , but still an aftermarket puter would be ideal , to fine tune it .
  13. i,ve done that conversion , all except the electrics which i had done by an auto sparky here in brisbane . the standard rb25de puters aren,t reprogramable , so you have to use the stock rb25de puter or go aftermarket puter , at a guess $1200 plus the existing plenum and runners are plenty big enough , but i put on an xf falcon throttle body bored out to 68 mm . if your engine is from an r33 hook up the variable cam timing ( it operates on the inlet cam only . i spose you could put an ajustable cam gear on the exhaust cam , cost about $250 also i,ve got a set of rb25de turbo injectors to put in ( they flow 370cc as against 270 for rb25de ones ) hope this is of some help by the way i got all this in a very ordinary stock looking 1987 red skyline 5 spd station wagon
  14. Anybody Know Where To Get Fujitsubo Extractors ?
  15. ive only seen pics of them , and i ,m not real keen on the design , no 6 pipe looks like its 2nd bend is too tight also same on no 1 pipe . they are not tuned length cos the front pipes look a lot longer than the rear ones . the primaries are 1 1/2 ", looking at the size of the rb25de ports they should be 1 5/8" primaries . i,ve had a quote from a business called GONZO PIPES , he makes the best , does lots of race cars , but will cost around $900 and that was with a tuned length megaphone for racing ... i got pics of the coby extractors if you want
  16. Yep i,ve done the rb25de n/a head conversion on my rb30de . its in my very ordinary 1987 red skyline wagon . did conversion in march this year . as yet it hasnt been on dyno . its done 15.1 sec @ 92 mph 1/4 mile ( this was before i had the fuel pressure sorted out ) . using rb25de pistons in the rb 30 gives me 10.5 -1 compression . has bored out to 68 mm xf falcon throttle body , and extractors , using the standard cams with the v.c.t. hooked up . still sorting out fuel and have bought a set of rb25de turbo injectors to put in . also have bought a sc14 super charger but will start on that later in the year .
  17. try www.dlra.org.au . thats the dry lake racers site . we race at lake gairdner salt lake in south australia , a week long event in march . i,ve driven my old 1987 skyline station wagon from brisbane there and raced it and got 224kmh ( it had a worked rb30e ) . you get up to 5 miles (8km ) to go for max speed . by the way the jun auto greddy skyline did 233mph ( 372 kmh) at bonneville salt flats in 1997 .
  18. what size primaries are they . and can you send me a pic at : [email protected]

  21. does anybody know the flow rates of r33 , rb25de and rb25det injectors , are they the same or different ph 0413546380 or email
  22. i have an rb25de head on my rb30e , are the rb25det injectors the same type and do you know if they flow more . i,m in brisbane too and if you dont have the answers maybe i could come and have a look at them and work them out if they are compatable regards DON PH 0413546380
