  1. goldwire interesting name
  2. argh my back hard day driving forklift yesterday twisted my back. harder day working on my car got the subframe back in mm fits like a glove. and the steering coloum has plenty of length left for the spline to hold onto. steering rack spacers in and loctie in place. tomlin knuckles in place and adjustable caster arms in. tomorrow brakes and time to roll it out of the garage and clean the garage floor. the cr@p that falls out of these cars is amazing.
  3. more goodies yay tomlin modifyed drift knuckles the tomlin knuckles next to the factory r33 knuckles that came with the big brakes. now to put it all together
  4. well the subframe is back and its done well and reinforced to heck. dont know if its gona help or not but mite as well do it since the engine is out now to paint it and put it together with my painted arms and tomlin knuckles te hehe should be off axle stands saturday after craigs dyno runs....
  5. took the front subframe apart this weekend been looking at ways to get more lock but for skylines it really comes down to knuckles and steering rack spacers. i was going to move the steering rack forward on the subframe but been told its not really needed as the binding that is created from xtra steering lock is only an issue with silivas and now i have a spare set of knuckles to play with and big brakes that come with em tee hehe these will help with ajustability and they came with the set i got for rear. i will be ditching the abs now tho because these new hubs dont have abs sensor... oh well.
  6. thanks mate i had a look under the car and was plenty of room for the weight things. got it in and all hooked up. or asleast as far as i could, then went to help a mate gib stop his sleepout, well just watched as he worked. next is the front subframe!
  7. does anyone know what the rubber mounted weights are on the ends of the subframe? they just bolted on to the stagea subframe but i thing they may get in the way of bolting in the r34 my factory subframe didnt have these (photos in previous post) todays effort before it got tooo cold outside. gloss black with chrome arms. (not bad) I didnt paint diff or axles as i might go with a 5x1 diff and axles. it goes in tomorrow.
  8. before after i got it back the car was a mess so i pulled the rb20de+t out and degressed the engine bay. the engine after i pulled it out, sold engine for 250 and turbo for 250 yay. the new engine, rb25de neo was a good engine last time around but this time with a much bigger turbo. and if 370cc injectors are to small then some 800cc denso injectors might work. starting the rebuild from the ground up i might aswell start at the back. (old sunframe) new wc34 stagea subframe (25mm wider both sides) have adjustable arms to go in too but will snap a pic when its all back together.
  9. next i had it certed, needed to tie engine loom back from rubbing on steering rack, wheel alignment and replace leaky adjustys. the wide body kit. after seeing adrians r34 with it on i had to put the guards on mine too (with ducktape 1st) then rivited (drift spec with crome rivits) with pant thanks craig.(with carbon wing) THIS IS WHERE IT WAS AT WHEN IT WAS STOLEN! i have since gotten the shell back with a rb20de in it with my turbo etc bolted to it,painted matt black and everything done to a prity poor standard or not finished at all. NOW THE STORY CONTINUES...
