  1. Great pics...nice hats
  2. good stuff..those mira's haha...lol..i wonder if they were used for parts when someone needs parts urgently..
  3. Well straight direct translation is Thunder Dark (sounds bit like odering a Coffee Black) . But u can call yourself Dark Thunder if u want.. :ufo: .. When u only put these 2 words together Thunder Dark they dont mean much. "Rai" + "Un" <== are u referring to Chinese pronounciation? They sound similar. In Chinese, the correct pronounciation "Lei" "An" , I think...which doesnt sound close enough to Ryan...i think "Lai" "En" would probably sound closer to Ryan.
  4. In Chinese the 1st character means thunder, 2nd means dark. I think they have similar meanings in Japanese.

    Opinions.

The website looks good, easy to navigate. Perhaps if you can make the wording for the hyperlinks on the left hand pane a tad bigger, then it would look even better...
  6. Are cables included? And how much is shippin to Perth?
  7. Canada is LHD same as US. Local cars are pretty reasonably priced in Canada...I would imagine a 2nd hand Jap import would cost more than local cars. I personally think the changes in import rule are unjust becos it doesnt favour us the consumers. However, NZ has more relaxed rules in this matter, and compliance cost is much less than what we would pay in Oz for cars imported under SEVS rule. I dont think Jap would go LHD after the war...becos the war was lost to people who drive on the left..so they went right... :aroused:
  8. lol...hmm silver n lace...

Heres some more from babel... I got god like skills and is good with eggs = Depending upon me God the way to become technology, the egg good. Let's use it with a pleasant feeling for one another. = Use that of the feeling whose feeling because of each other is good is permitted.
  10. Lol..that's kinda queer. It looked like someone stuck a strip wall paper onto the bonnet. Different but..dont think so.
  11. Perhaps the car manufacturers should explain these mystery alphabets..it could be some sort car manufacturer's code...or maybe just a random alphabet they thought up.
  12. Just like the S15 - I've seen on Nissan Japan and Carview's websites, it's got the type as GF-S15. Both S13 and S14 appear as E-S13 & E-S14 on Carview's website. http://history.nissan.co.jp/SILVIA/S15/020...SPEC/index.html http://www.carview.co.jp/vip/specification...SILVIA/1999.asp The following is the meaning behind the name to some of nissan's cars - for those who is interested. You'll need babelfish for translation if u cant read japanese like me. http://www.nissan.co.jp/MUSEUM/CARNAME/index.html

    Gym rules

LoL I bet they did... :spcow: - word for word direct translation just doesnt work.. "Let's use it with a pleasant feeling for one another. " I wonder what this is referring to....LOL They probably dont expect many foreigners would use the gym..
  14. on the subject of 2nd hand, is it true that they chuck out their not so old TV and PC's? A friend who taught in Japan says people there just throw them out, you can basically pick up a reasonably new TV & PC that are in excellent working condition.
  15. I've heard from some that they r bit hard to service and replace engine parts due to tight engine bay..and bit hard to source parts. And early models tend to have problem with dash lifting where windscreen meets the dash. I personally think the 300zx is a great lookin car.
  16. Dont they have to convert it to a LHD? I think C$18,100 is kind of pricey in Canadian term.
  17. Taken from the site, "We have included the cost of shipping, import duties, GST, compliance and our service fee in this estimate. Not included is the cost of tyres, Govt. stamp duty and registration (normal licensing costs for any vehicle). Additional costs may be incurred if brake pads need to be replaced in compliance." This means it could cost another 2-3k for tyres, stamp duty, rego...and alarm...plus some other additional cost?
  18. I think covers like these are only for mature drivers...dont think u want them...it is not very effective as seat covers...
  19. IMO - this change = biggest cow dung u can find. :spcow: As pointed out - that jap 15 yr old imports are far more superior than local cars of similar age in terms of safety and emission. So if one compares 10 local old bombs with 10 jap 15yr old imports - emission will from jap imports would be much lower than local old bombs. Regulations and policies in Japan is more stringent than aus. The fear and speculatiion that jap imports will kill local car market = biggest pile of cow dung. :spcow: I think the gov't can get away with things like this - becos it is functioning like a mafia gang... :skull: Consumers are being bullied by all these red tapes and cow dung.
  20. lol...now that u can stick it to the sushi...I wonder why they havent dish out a big mac memory stick by now?? Or tempura ones...should be nice...hmmm...Gourmet Memory Sticks..i suppose u can only buy them from restaurants...
  21. IMO...once this is in place, RAWS will also be the car dealer...and theres no guarantee of "better price". There will always be the excuse of high compliance costs, high demand pushing cost up the roof, etc...etc... :spcartman
  22. I reckon Ebay should ban this seller...
  23. It is not hard to give yourself lots of positive feedbacks on ebay. You just need to create lots of ebay accounts or have your friends or partners in crime to create some accounts and give him positive feedbacks... Sounds very sus....car is in Czech Rep. but is still registered in US? Is this allowed? Or make sense even.....if anyone buys - make sure u receive the goods before u pay...
  24. Thanks for the info...I've visited Stranbridges' web site before...and they dont seem to carry Hotworks...I've just checked Sherriff's mini cars and they dont carry this brand either.
  25. I wonder how much is postage....$60,000 AUD?
