  1. Thank you thats very nice to say.
  2. does the knock happen when you start ramping up the load (accelerating?) my car did the same thing at about 3000rpm...
  3. actually i'd just come home from a fire call out for a car fire...i'm a volunteer firefighter it was 4am over here (NZ)
  4. I'm tuning my wifes GTR after i scored a Powerfc off a friend. The stock maps use relatively advanced timing. i think its more cruicial getting your fuel dialed in properly before ignition...but 1 or 2 degrees here and there ain't too bad....until you can get fueling map done it looks alright, you've taken timing out in areas of deceleration/light load what were your thoughts on doing this? you can usually put more timing there.
  5. Lol i actually meant to comment that on your post/rant earlier in the thread. then i couldn't delete it...then it was too late...then i slept.
  6. put a knock block on....i could hear knock through the headphones that was not registering on the PowerFC assuming this is what you have. what mods?
  7. thanks for that, I only had a conversation with them regarding there flow rate which he said 'yes they are 850cc injectors' they had to ultrasonic them 10 times to get them down to that variance. I was expecting a report like their website says but couldn't be bothered making a big deal out of it. if If i was going to do it all again I would buy new.
  8. Hi guys, i purchased some 850cc injectors from TLF performance, unfortunately after i bought them i heard and read some bad stories about their injectors. So...i had them cleaned and bench tested. I didn't get a report and when i asked for one they wrote down some figures which i'm hoping someone who knows the ANSU testing machine/procedure might know what the measures mean. 1= 70ml 2= 71ml 3= 72ml 4= 71ml 5= 72ml 6= 71ml
  9. i think the reservoir for the hicas is in the boot for the r32 hicas. just use any old powersteering fluid i reckon...something is better than nothing.
  10. whats the biggest difference you notice from changing diff?
  11. yes i should've probably put a z32 or other AFM in there as well.
  12. like the others have said...and to put it back on topic. I'd go first for exhaust, air filter then suspension (adjustables, rear sway bar, rear camber arms.) uprated brake pads & brake master cylinder stopper boost controller & fmic then ECU,injectors & turbo + exh manifold + tune
  13. also because i have joined recently i've found the search is crap...you get better hits for SAU from google that the forum itself...and then when you do find something its in the 142nd page of a topic that is not even the topic you are searching for.
  14. it was a throw away comment...feel free to throw it away...build a bridge and harden up. i don't care about credibility i'm not here to prove anything.
  15. its appropriate for me to describe you anyway i feel like....i don't mind helping bleating newbies, everyone starts somewhere.
  16. must be a really tired troll
  17. just had a look at the deal...and yep...thats a bloody good deal. $2800....if i could've spent that 10 years ago.........
  18. don't worry about the SAU forum trolls...look how many posts they have done...its no wonder they are old and bitter. are there any mods done to this car already or is she stock as a rock.
  19. Scotty, would you have a price for 4 injectors for a Nissan GTIR? looking for anything above 550cc.
  20. that sucks dude, i'd start checking the basics...check fuel pump is pumping fuel, check spark....if they are good try a different airflow meter...you might have a broken one.
  21. so could I run a flow master then.....I want to try that just for shits and giggles
  22. i guess you're hitting the nail on the head...what makes a turbo muffler a turbo muffler? is it a straight through design? if thats the case many mufflers can be used.
  23. my wife has the HKS super Dragger i quite like that sound.
  24. if this is a GTR and you are still running AFM's then check them for dry solder joints....that'd be my guess...give the element a clean with proper afm cleaner also.
