  1. well, there are too many assumptions for the information given. and the information given warrants the replies given.....it's all a given really...internets on.
  2. you could probably hold 35psi with your thumb.
  3. thats a lot of boost...probably a better head gasket too.
  4. it went back on the dyno today to see the difference. 5killerwasps all up. 234kw from 229kw.
  5. innovate have logworks which may work for this...what connector is on the output?
  6. r32 GTR r33 rb26dett stock engine stock turbo's apexi super dragger 3.5" from from pipes. some after market front pipe(unsure brand) apexi avc-r (15psi) apexi power fc (self tuned) HKS pod filters dyno run on 2wd dyno with fuse pulled. 271rwkw @15psi Sorry about the power colour being hard to see. the little blip at 5000rpm and 7000rpm was coil missfire
  7. umm is it me or is that a big ass crack next to the valve seat?
  8. you need to test it properly for leaks....
  9. So your map sensor, iat sensor and tps are reading correct? Can you data log on your ecu?
  10. intercooler piping leak tested? burst hose?
  11. Check for vacuum leaks
  12. you might not need that length, the stock ones are 45mm i believe, have a look here. http://gcg.com.au/category/turbocharger-accessories/studs-nuts
  13. m10x1.5x60mm i just surfed around for this... you can buy them from GCG turbo's and there is also a recommendation to get inconel ones which is just a more heat resistant metal...but more expensive....probably just make sure your exhaust isn't hanging all its weight off the turbo.
  14. i'm pretty sure there isn't a single turbo manufacturer that doesn't make turbo's in china.....get used to it boys...they're all made there or will be....search around on youtube like i did when looking for a turbo and you'll see all the reason the chinese knockoff turbos aren't good...the hypergear turbo's were the best price/performance option of any i had seen and i settled on a ATR43SS2....i couldn't really afford garrett price $2k+ and i was using a GT3076r as a guide for price $2200 here NZD. i bought my turbo and wastegate for a lot less than that. at a minimum you'll have to re-core your china knock off early and you'd have spent the same already as on a hypergear that you wouldn't have to re-core.
  15. bloody hell thats perfect, nup i hadn't seen it...thanks perfectly answers my question....
  16. Hi All, are there any differences in wiring between r32 & r33 GTR afms and rb25det afms? and are the rb25det afms any better? opinions are fine. cheers Gaz
  17. Do you have a comment about the chra and the additional water feed?
  18. Dunno, it's meant to be an atr43ss2 with a 0.82 a/r rear housing, all vband....seems to be what I have.
  19. yeah i've taken the plugs off...one is shallow which i think is return and one is deep which i think is feed. I'm guessing this is so the turbo can be mounted on either side of the engine e.g for exhaust on other side of engine like toyota.
  20. check for bent pins.
  21. i have two extra ones.
  22. recieved my ATR43ss2 today, can't wait to get it fabricated up. One question, the CHRA has four waterfeed/returns. 2 have bolts in them and the other 2 plastic bungs...how should i hook these up properly?
  23. Fuel pump first, the other two will require re tune
  24. does it have a FMIC? or the standard side mount intercooler?
  25. looking at that...it looks like at some point an aftermarket boost controller has been fitted....see those small blue hoses....they aren't standard...have a look around for a boost controller solenoid with a hose connected to it...i'll look similar to the stock one...or it might just be a air bleed valve.
