Sorry about the power colour being hard to see. the little blip at 5000rpm and 7000rpm was coil missfire
m10x1.5x60mm i just surfed around for this... you can buy them from GCG turbo's and there is also a recommendation to get inconel ones which is just a more heat resistant metal...but more expensive....probably just make sure your exhaust isn't hanging all its weight off the turbo.
i'm pretty sure there isn't a single turbo manufacturer that doesn't make turbo's in china.....get used to it boys...they're all made there or will be....search around on youtube like i did when looking for a turbo and you'll see all the reason the chinese knockoff turbos aren't good...the hypergear turbo's were the best price/performance option of any i had seen and i settled on a ATR43SS2....i couldn't really afford garrett price $2k+ and i was using a GT3076r as a guide for price $2200 here NZD. i bought my turbo and wastegate for a lot less than that. at a minimum you'll have to re-core your china knock off early and you'd have spent the same already as on a hypergear that you wouldn't have to re-core.
Hi All,
are there any differences in wiring between r32 & r33 GTR afms and rb25det afms? and are the rb25det afms any better?
opinions are fine.
cheers

yeah i've taken the plugs off...one is shallow which i think is return and one is deep which i think is feed. I'm guessing this is so the turbo can be mounted on either side of the engine e.g for exhaust on other side of engine like toyota.
recieved my ATR43ss2 today, can't wait to get it fabricated up. One question, the CHRA has four waterfeed/returns. 2 have bolts in them and the other 2 plastic bungs...how should i hook these up properly?
looking at that...it looks like at some point an aftermarket boost controller has been fitted....see those small blue hoses....they aren't standard...have a look around for a boost controller solenoid with a hose connected to it...i'll look similar to the stock one...or it might just be a air bleed valve.
