Date: -Friday the 27th of July. Cost: -$200 per driver capped to 70 drivers -Spectators and passengers are free! Enter at the main gate, please be there on time, we want maximum track time we can get! Inverse Tyres will be there with their tyre machine. $10 strip and fits! At this stage however you will need to take your scrapies with you. Timetable: 7:00am – Gates open 8:00am – Scrutineering 8:30am – Drivers briefing 9:00am – On track Midday – Lunch 12:30pm – Back on Track 4:30pm – Open Session 5:00pm – End of day Drivers will be split into 3 groups of 20 minute sessions: -A = Top competition level drivers -B = Experienced drivers -C = For those still learning/just starting out As I don’t know many of you, you will be able to choose your own groups, please pick the correct group for your skill level, I will be moving drivers as required. The drift sections are: Section 1 = Turns 1 through to 3 of the National circuit Section 2 = Turns 4 and 5 (the chicane) followed by a manji section Section3 = Turns 6 through to 10, must be straight before the drag strip Possible 4th section to be confirmed, will jst be a simple manji section on the front straight. Scrutineering: All cars must have working brake lights. All cars must have at minimum, working rear hazard lights. All exterior panels must be fitted securely. All cars must have a front and back tow point. All wheel nuts must be fitted. Front tyres must be in roadworthy condition Rear tyres need to be in good condition when heading onto the track (eg: not already on canvas) Cars mustn't have any sharp objects poking out from the body. Brake, clutch and power steering reservoirs must be covered by an absorbent material. All cars require a radiator overflow bottle. Oil breathers must either be plumb back into intake system, or into an approved oil catch can. Everything must be securely mounted. All cars must have a working 1kg or larger fire extinguisher securely fitted by a steel bracket within reach of the driver. Seats must be securely fitted. Seat belts must be in good condition, lap belts are not allowed. Dashes must be secure. Steering wheels must be secure. No loose items in cabin. Battery must be secure with a steel bracket and sealed from the cabin. Passengers are permitted in vehicles with FULL roll cages with side intrusions only. Cameras are permitted as long as they are fitted using proper fitting equipment. Driver Safety: Drivers and passengers must be cover from neck to wrists to ankles. Non flammable materials. Closed shoes must be worn. Helmets must be in good condition and displaying an adr or equivalent sticker. NO licence is required however drivers and passengers need to bring i.d.
